Old dated property. No amenities. Close to Amtrak was only reason I booked it.

The hotel is in poor condition. Paint was peeling from the ceiling in our bathroom. Only one of the drawers in our dresser was useable. The other two drawers were broken. Towels and pillows were old. Breakfast was served outside with plastic sheathing around the tables. We paid for muffins to go and ate in our room. The only upside we found was the location of the hotel. But there are others nearby and if we went back to the area, we would try one of them.

Tim at the front desk was excellent. He gave us lots of great information about sites to visit in Newport. Paula was excellent as well. She moved us quickly from room 200 which has a lot of street noise and was also great to work with.
