Reeves is the property owner and was also our driver. He was most hospitable, amiable and serviceable. I cannot say enough good things about him. Pros: The staff were fantastic - the night security guard helped us find a taxi driver when we didn’t receive a response from the front desk, the restaurant was delicious, the balcony and views were beautiful, the room was clean upon arrival and the AC worked well Cons: The location is right by the highway and the walls are paper thin so any noise permeates the whole building. We heard every phone call, conversation, text notification, dog, horn, or other noise at all hours. No one was particularly loud either; there is simply no noise insulation. The plumbing is very unreliable; multiple toilet clogs with only liquid in the bowl and the shower water was lukewarm at its best. No towel refreshes, we ran out of toilet paper, no covers aside from a top sheet and small blanket at the foot of the bed. I acknowledge that we were here during NYE and was warned that the reception would be closed, but was also given a WhatsApp number to contact if we needed anything. I received no response to the messages I sent to that number or to Hotels.com messages. We would stay again if it was the last option available, but wouldn’t otherwise.

My stay at windblow was very disappointing. I was booked from Feb 22 to 3/1 and left on Feb 23. The studio apartment had no draws, no nightstand, the sink in the bathroom was so tiny we ended up washing our faces in the kitchen sink because we would bump our heads trying to use bathroom sink. The Villa advertised as “quiet time” at night but had a dog that wasn’t disclosed,on site that howled for long periods of time.The shower caddy was so nasty it looked like something was growing out of it and the bathroom rug was dirty with brown spots. The window in the suite had no curtain and what absolutely ran me out of there was the lizards! Yes its an island and lizards are common but common outside, not inside. The first night we got there he chased a lizard out and the 2nd night he was battling another one from above our bed with a broom.When I looked at patio door you could see the gaps where lizards were entering.What was really upsetting. Is the fact that the owner acknowledged the gaps and said it was something he had to work on in addition to acknowledging there was no window curtain and he also would go get one the next day. Why advertise the place if it not ready to be accommodated…

Lovely hotel and very helpful staff with a great view & 24 hours security. Stayed in the presidential suite which is in a different building to the main hotel with its own pool. I think space would benefit from a few additional amenities within apartment style rooms to make stay more comfortable, eg: kitchen towel, spare garbage bags, more than one room key etc. Our biggest issue was not having a full length mirror which is available in standard rooms, so be prepared if you’re travelling for carnival. All in all a good stay.
