I was not sure about this place since it was our only choice around town. For the most part every other hotel in the are was overprice. Lady was very nice and the room we booked with a king size bed was clean.

Excellent service, nice location, and the food was amazing! We are from Albany CA and my wife and I were blown away with our dinner and breakfast! Everyone there was fantastic!

The room was clean, however we had booked a Two queen bed room and the beds were double sized. We also had very noisy neighbors so sleeping was a bit hard.

The hotel is in a historic building with beautiful wood accents throughout. The staff are nice and try to be helpful. However, we were disappointed given the price we paid. Amenities include a restaurant on-site. While this is technically true, this is misleading since it is only open Thursday through Sunday in the high season. There is a small store across the street that has takeout sandwiches and burritos, but other food options require driving to another town. Our room had 4 hangers and no drawers or shelves to put clothes on. There was a dried urine spot on the toilet seat and long black hair in the bathroom floor when we checked in. A water line was broken during our stay, which we discovered when air and dirty water came out of the sink and toilet that evening. There was no sign to warn guests not to drink the water, or to run it for a few minutes before using. I hope no one got sick. It is too bad - this place has a lot of potential, but with present conditions you would be better off at a hotel in one of the nearby towns.

Very clean and quiet - great for an overnight stay

central location was very convenient. On one way street a little tricky maneuvering. Parking lot a little tricky to park and exit. too expensive.

The staff here were incredibly helpful! We drove all night from Sea-Tac airport and they assisted with an early check in to ensure that we could get some rest to enjoy the beauty that Arcata had to offer! .

The room was not very clean and the shower didn’t drain. Ac was very load and sounded like it was going to break at any moment
