The Morning View Resort Hotel was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete scam. The photos shown online were clearly outdated and did not reflect the actual condition of the property, supposedly because of the typhoon—but this was never disclosed to us beforehand. Had we known the real situation, we would never have booked this place.
Because of this, we were forced to move to another hotel and drive an additional 30 minutes, which was totally unexpected and very inconvenient, especially after a long trip. On top of that, the room price we paid did not match the quality at all. The rooms smelled bad, felt poorly maintained, and were far from what was advertised.
What made it even more frustrating was the breakfast situation. Each room had three beds, yet breakfast was only provided for two people. This makes absolutely no sense and felt very unfair, especially considering how much we paid.
We booked three rooms and paid a total of USD 507, which is around PHP 25,000—a significant amount of money. For that price, we expected basic honesty, cleanliness, and proper service, none of which were delivered. This experience caused us stress, inconvenience, and disappointment during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay.
I truly hope we can get a refund for what we paid, because this was nowhere near worth the amount charged and did not meet reasonable expectations at all.
