Strengths: Affordable, conveintly loacated in Elko, overall clean rooms. Weaknesses: Hallway carpet was needing replacing, though room carpet was fine. Breakfast was good, but not well stocked with juices and other items. Receptioninst was great on check in, but afterwards was not as attentive as I would like. Sink stopper was missing in both rooms I booked. Screen on window was torn so that window could not be opened without allowing bugs in. Window shade was torn and let light in at night. Not huge deals, but with some easy fixes, stay experience would be improved.

Clean room. Quiet property

The place needs improvement. There was someone else’s food left in the fridge. The door to the room had a small gap and didn’t feel secure. The room had an odd odor.

The staff gets an A+. Casino, front desk and restaurant. The common areas of the hotel looked they were from the 1970's. Old and worn carpet, peeling paint, old doors, the pool area was a disaster. The water was clean but the patio looked old and worn out.

We arrived home from our stay and my wife was sick. She threw up all night and had other symptoms (cramps, diarrhea) that seemed like classic food poisoning. We reviewed the day, and the only thing that she ate that the rest of us did not was the oatmeal at the hotel. If the oatmeal was from a previous day and hadn't been cooled and reheated properly, it could be extremely dangerous.

Needs to be updated. Linens and towels needed to be bleached. Most were not even white.
