You can’t beat the location of this hotel! It is close to everything and right across the street from the Roam bus station. You are given free passes for the transit system during your stay. Parking is also so convenient. The rooms are pretty basic but nothing to complain about - comfortable beds and amazing water pressure in the shower! Very friendly staff. Prices in Banff are crazy everywhere. I thought the prices here were reasonable compared to others.

Older charming hotel

Charming older hotel central location which was very convenient for catching shuttles and public transportation. Also bear all the shops and restaurants in downtown Banff.

The location is great, very close to shuttle pick up for the gondola or Roam buses. It’s easy to walk to shopping and dining. As others have mentioned, the lighting in the room is very dim. I got used to it but wished for better. The breakfast situation wasn’t the best- the first morning a big group had reserved the whole area and we had to take the last few seats in the bar area to be served. The weekend it was closed and we either used the bar or went elsewhere. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but when I asked how to find the rental car office she said “you can’t miss it” which was quite wrong- it was very hidden. But overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it as a slightly more reasonable option for in town.

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff are friendly. However, for a total cost of over $600, I expected a more updated facility. The property felt somewhat outdated, and there were no iPhone or USB-C charging options available. Cleanliness was average. While the location is good, I would likely consider other options in the future
