No noise

This hotel is in a poor neighborhood and we feared for our safety. The hotel bed was amazing. The shower was nice! The AC was sketchy and the place had a smell! But the main issue for us was the lack of feeling safe. We stayed 3 nights and each night had people working on cars and sitting in lawn chairs in the parking lot like they lived out their car!

We visited this hotel for my son’s graduation from boot camp so this was a very special moment for us. We had drove from Ohio to South Carolina. I had booked through Expedia months in advance. I also called one month in advance to let the front desk staff know that I would arrive at midnight and I needed to check in early so that we could sleep for a couple of hours then head out at 6 am for the base. I arrived and I was told I had to pay for a whole other room which was not part of my reservation. Then they wanted to charge me 100 for incidentals. I also had to check out in the morning and re check in the next day for my room I booked months ago mind you. Next day after family day I call and I was told by front desk the room I booked months in advance would not be available. Someone else had my room. The would put me in another room. No compensation for my loss because I booked through Expedia was the excuse. Then we had to check out Friday instead of Saturday I was told they would still charge me for all days and I needed to turn my key in by 11 that way they would keep my money and clean it and rent it out again. I was so un happy by this experience. They ruined our experience and the manager wouldn’t even speak to me. He instead got upset at the front desk lady for being nice to me. Very dissatisfied with this hotel.

Coffee situation was dubious. Staff were very nice. Some rooms do not have windows!!!

Very nice hotel spacious clean and definitely will be returning
