It has recently been remodeled. The rooms were surprisingly very nice. However, it could have been cleaned a little better. There were bugs... Including a huge wolf spider that had babies on her back. It was a big turnoff for us for this hotel. It was conveniently located to downtown Bainbridge, which was a total plus.

I felt like the person at the reception absolutely did not appreciate that i arrived late. First, i had to wait a long time before someone came to the door. Then, when i asked some questions about a clearly incorrectly printed check-out time on the sign-in document that she had asked me to sign, she seemed aggravated. About the place itself: i find it very bare bones, though clean. The room cleaners where a bit too aggressive in the morning, though - yes, i didn't have a "do not disturb" - sign out but i also didn't expect the cleaners to show up at 8:30am. They knocked on the door and then immediately, before i even had a chance to respond, they tried to get into the room. Stressful.

I was actually shocked once I arrived. Usually hotels that have an amazing rate like this are ran down but I took a chance and it paid off. Once I arrive the property of the hotel was very clean, very good customer service. The room was very clean and updated. The location was quiet and I felt safe. Across the highway is a lovely park on the river. I would definitely return here when I’m in the area!
