"Good location"
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, the check-in was smooth and there was always at least one staff attending at the desk. The location is very convenient, there are Super Walmart, Big Boy, gas station, thrift stores, etc by the hotel. There is a swimming pool which was a nice feature of the hotel too. We would stay here if I come to Bad Axe again.

"A plain and simple country place to stay the night"
It was a little farther out of Bad Axe, MI than we wanted, but sufficient. Has kitchenette. We didn't need that but a nice feature. Easy to find. Old fashioned feel. Reminded me of childhood vacation trips.

"Nice overnight stay"
We got to the Motel late (11pm), and was greeted very cordially. The room was very clean and orderly. The breakfast was continental style...fruit, cereal, pastries, etc., but sufficient for filling us up. Nice experience overall.

"Nice motel for a short stay in Harbor Beach, MI"
It is a no frills motel, clean, quiet, with owner on hand /on premises, with a nice restaurant next door. A nice, low cost place to stay if you are driving across the Michigan "thumb" area.

DeMott's West Park Inn

440 W. Sanilac Rd, Sandusky - Map
"Good choice in Sandusky, MI. "
The hotel is a "Mom and Pop" hotel, but it seemed to be well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The water faucet in the shower needed to be replaced. You couldn't adjust it and my shower was just warm. The bathroom itself was clean and looked like it had be remodeled not to many years ago. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. It was a little loud on Friday night, but nothing that kept me from sleeping.

"Charmont Motel"
I just stayed here over night so it was okay. The front desk people were hard to understand but they were very nice. The continental breakfast wasn't much (cereal, mini muffins and donuts, and coffee) but it held me over until I got home. My room was okay. It was a typical hotel room but had an unusal odor; almost like it used to be a smoking room. I probably will never stay at this motel again but that's only because I don't visit Cass City on a regular basis. Was only there for a wedding. If you are looking for a place only to stay over night and you are in the area, this isn't a bad place to stay. If you need anything for more than just an over night stay, I would recommend a more popular hotel with a little more amenities.

Bad Axe is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bad Axe, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bad Axe hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
