Very friendly staff and great breakfast. It looked like parts of the property and room was under maintenance. Parking area was unpaved - limited space and uneven ground made it hard to park.

This was one of the worst places we have recently stayed at. The images on Expedia for this property do not reflect reality. When we first arrived we were told that our room did not have a sea view even though my wife had actually paid extra for this. So we were charged an additional TL200 for a room with a view. The room was so small that once we put our suitcases down we could hardly turn around. On Expedia, there were some inviting nice pictures of this property but they were far from reality. It says that they have a pool but it is filled with filthy water and the small pool adjacent to the big one had a snake in the filthy water. This hotel does not have a beach even though it is on the waterfront. Where the sea meets the property there is a wall approximately 6 feet high! Since it was a fairly cool and windy day when we stayed here my son wanted to swim in the pool but again it was not usable. No 82-inch TV, room safe not working, limited dining. Included breakfast does not include drinks for children unless they drink water, coffee or tea. We were charged for a fruit drink! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

Giriş yaptığımızda ilk olarak odanın yedek anahtarının olmadığı ve kaybetmememiz gerektiği söylendi. Dolayısıyla odalarımız hiç temizlenmedi. 3kişilik odaya iki küçük şampuan bırakıp şampuan istediğimizde de “zaten odada var” gibi bir cevap aldık sonrasında verdiler. Odada iki şişe su vardı ama bu su kaldığımız tüm zaman dilimi içindi. Yani her gün düzenli su takviyesi yapılmadı. Giriş kattaki sebilden su alabileceğimizi söylediler. Yani odadaki su ihtiyacımız bile yeterince karşılanmadı. Havuz pisti. Kahvaltıda meyve suyu bile yoktu. İnternet vardı ancak hiç bir yerde çekmiyordu erişim sağlayamadık. Ütü istediğimizde “ütü için yarın yardımcı olabiliriz” dendi. Ama odada ütüleme fiyatlarımın yazdığı bir kart vardı buna rağmen ütü hizmeti yoktu.

Yanıltıcı Bilgiler ve Düşük Hizmet Kalitesi

Hotels.com üzerinden 4 gece rezervasyon yaptığımız Cunda Basel Hotel, yıllardır bu platformu kullanan biri olarak yaşadığım en büyük hayal kırıklığı oldu. 3 yıldızlı konfor ve keyifli bir tatil beklentisiyle gittiğimiz otelin genel durumu oldukça bakımsızdı. Sahibi olduğunu vurgulayan kişi dışında çok az personeli vardı. “Plaj” bilgisi tamamen yanıltıcıydı; aslında plaj yok, sadece küçük bir iskele bulunuyor. Fotoğraflar plaj varmış izlenimi veriyor, özellikle gece çekimleriyle bu algı güçlendirilmişti. Odalar çok küçük, iki kişinin yan yana yürümesi imkânsızdı. Yataklar dar ve rahatsız, banyo ekipmanları bozuk, mobilyalar eski ve küflü, birçok yüzey pas içindeydi. İnternet çekmiyor, odada oturacak koltuk yok, ayak havluları bile ayırt edilmemişti. İlk sabah Hotels.com üzerinden iptal ve iade talebinde bulunduk ancak otel yönetimi kesinlikle kabul etmedi, kalan 3 geceyi mecburen orada geçirdik. Oda değişiminde ise sorun bitmedi; yeni odanın kliması suyu içeri damlatıyordu. Defalarca resepsiyonu aramamıza rağmen görevli yalnızca “havlu koyun” diyerek geçiştirdi ve değişim yapılmadı. Gece boyunca “şıp şıp” klima suyu sesi eşliğinde uyumak zorunda kaldık. Çıkışta yaşadığımız tüm olumsuzluklara rağmen kimseden tek bir özür dahi duymadık. Hizmet kalitesi, oda koşulları ve verilen bilgilerin doğruluğu açısından bu otel kesinlikle tavsiye edebileceğim bir yer değil.

Cunda Basel Otel

Otelin sahibi Metin bey çok ilgili, zarif ve güler yüzlü. Ancak odalarda temizlik sorunu var. Ekstra temizlik istememize rağmen, yine de tozluydu odalar. Otel eski. Çalışanlar son derece nazik. Kahvaltı çok yetersiz. Peynir bile en ucuzundan. Tüm bunlara karşın, denize sıfır olması ve merkeze yakınlığı büyük avantaj.
