Didn't look like much from the outside, but was surprised by the spacious interior. The room was like a suite (also unexpected, but maybe I didn't read the description online). Super firm bed and good hot shower. The free breakfast options were as dismal as they always are: I had a hardened puck of alleged sausage and a piece of bread and left in search of something better to start the day. Staff was super friendly and I'm sorry I didn't take time to check out the pool. Was content with the last-minute booking, and location was ideal.

They are upgrading the rooms there. Everything was good. At one point at like 1am i woke up after hearing someone in one of the other rooms get in an argument. I also fell asleep on the couch so i might have just woken really easily.

One night stay in Athens was disappointing because of rude treatment by the desk clerk. GM Jan Roe was very nice and said she would address the issues with her staff.

Filthy bedding, hair and stains. The shower was clogged as was the sink. Sticky surfaces and the bed’s mattress had a huge dent in the middle that made you sink into it, not in the good way.

The room and hotel were adequate for my needs but I would describe the condition as well worn. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but since housekeeping was only being done every 3rd day the cleanliness of the room suffered. A particular annoyance was that room door lock took multiple tries to unlock, and then in the morning it wouldn't latch. I tried to report this but no one was at the front desk and I had leave to make my appointment.

Property has issues that must be addressed. Ex. Carpets in rooms need to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. I notice spot stains on bathroom walls cleaning staff failed to wipe. A cabinet door was barely screwed in and about to fall off. The hotel does have a beautiful interior that is a treat for people interested in architecture or interior design. The breakfast was delicious.
