Our son said "This is the best hotel you've booked, mom!" when we entered the room. I might not agree fully, but we did love the cosy room and the small outside area. Our only concern was the lack of an air-conditioning, but the weather wasn't very hot when we were there so we didn't feel it, but I'm guessing it can get hot on a warm day. Other than that, the staff was excellent, especially Mikkel whom I chatted with for quite some time upon arrival. The breakfast and staff there was wonderful and we didn't lack for anything! If we go back to Billund (chances are high as I'm a Lego fanatic) we will stay here again for sure!

The food let's the hotel down. The dinner was expensive but the food was awful. The crispy chicken was inedible and the chicken nuggets could break a window they were so over cooked. All the lego displays are fantastic including King Rat in the bathroom.

Almost excellent. Charming. Beautifully decorated. Convenient to Aarhus & Silkeborg. Rooms could have used a lick of fresh paint and bathrooms needed updating. Also a vacuum in the hallway. Dinner in the dining room was very well prepared, albeit with a limited menu. Could easily be so much more. Still, we enjoyed it more than the star ratings suggest. So romantic!

We enjoyed our stay at the Castle Hotel! Our boys loved the bunk beds in the Wizard Room. The unlimited play time with lego was also a hit! The breakfast was just okay. They had the usual breakfast items with a big selection but just didn't love it. The buffet dinner though was great! Plenty of choices and food was tasty. It was a great option for after a tiring day at the parks. I would definitely stay here again!
