Okay if you need a quick little place to stay

It was an alright experience. There was a singer on Friday which went on til 11.30pm, I had to be up pretty early so thought that was a bit late. Room was alright generally clean although there are sick marks on the floor. I was told to bring a fan which wasn't really ideal, that's like saying being your own heater in the winter. I could get one and so the room was boiling. Food was decent although my bacon sandwich was mainly bread. Breakfast isn't included in the price and the service was pretty poor, but the lad was young and seemed pretty new, so if say that he was poorly managed. Adam was really the highlight of my stay, he was nice, friendly and took the time to explain things as well as to stop for a chat to make sure I was okay when I was unwell. He should train the young lad that was on today, who was lovely but felt out of his depth. Overall, my stay wasn't awful but it wasn't ideal for what I needed.

Dirty carpets

My room was no 5 on the ground floor,it was adequate but the bathroom entrance was very narrow the mirror over the basin was set very low and I had to stoop too to see myself to shave .the shower was very good and with plenty of hot water. The worst thing about the room was the carpet it was stained in multiple places and I didn’t feel like I wanted to take my shoes off,it as a good job I took some slippers.this s not acceptable and along with the room that needed a coat of paint I wasn’t impressed.next time I will find a premier Inn to stay at

It was a bit weird to see it's a sports bar but the staff were really friendly. Check in was swift and our room had everything we needed. We ate in the bar and the food was very well priced for large portions. Lasagnewas amazing and served with fresh salad. Breakfast was amazing value with good quality ingredients and quick service. Easy level walk into lovely Alcester.

Ideal place to stay. Best of the lot on this 28 day trip. This is the role model of what people want in a place to stay. Also, has a: restaurant & bar. Check-in was a little odd, had to walk into the bar & wait a bit. Stayed in room #20 (I think, 1st door to the right upstairs). 3 nights in late-March 2025. Negatives: No USB power. Positives: Massive amount of free parking onsite. Room was super clean & quiet. Room was completely updated throughout. Roomy space with thoughtful design such as efficient space to lay two carry-on suitcases open, stacked. Water was hot. Sheets & towels were super clean. Very good lighting. Very good natural light. Digital controlled heat. Even the provided shampoos & soap were higher quality. Silverware/ceramics were clean & spotless. Kettle was clean. Wi-fi connected once and worked good throughout. Lot's of electrical outlets! Adjustable hand held shower head is always better than a fixed head.

Pleasant stay

Only stopped one night, room was basic but clean and comfortable, food usual pub food and reasonably priced also the drinks. Didn't have breakfast but looked very good value speaking to another customer. Live band on from 9pm till 11pm. Good night's sleep, would stay again if in the area.
