It was a bit weird to see it's a sports bar but the staff were really friendly. Check in was swift and our room had everything we needed. We ate in the bar and the food was very well priced for large portions. Lasagnewas amazing and served with fresh salad. Breakfast was amazing value with good quality ingredients and quick service. Easy level walk into lovely Alcester.

Ideal place to stay. Best of the lot on this 28 day trip. This is the role model of what people want in a place to stay. Also, has a: restaurant & bar. Check-in was a little odd, had to walk into the bar & wait a bit. Stayed in room #20 (I think, 1st door to the right upstairs). 3 nights in late-March 2025. Negatives: No USB power. Positives: Massive amount of free parking onsite. Room was super clean & quiet. Room was completely updated throughout. Roomy space with thoughtful design such as efficient space to lay two carry-on suitcases open, stacked. Water was hot. Sheets & towels were super clean. Very good lighting. Very good natural light. Digital controlled heat. Even the provided shampoos & soap were higher quality. Silverware/ceramics were clean & spotless. Kettle was clean. Wi-fi connected once and worked good throughout. Lot's of electrical outlets! Adjustable hand held shower head is always better than a fixed head.

Pleasant stay

Only stopped one night, room was basic but clean and comfortable, food usual pub food and reasonably priced also the drinks. Didn't have breakfast but looked very good value speaking to another customer. Live band on from 9pm till 11pm. Good night's sleep, would stay again if in the area.

Good cheap place to stay

This is not a smart pub, it’s a cheap and cheerful place to stay which was just what I needed for a working trip. Room was clean and comfortable, basic but everything I needed. Restaurant had a reasonable choice and the food was ok rather than fantastic but with main courses at around a tenner and a glass of wine for less than a fiver I am certainly not complaining. Would I go there again? Absolutely, excellent value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. No airs abd graces here, just a comfortable place to stay at very reasonable cost. Overall good. Good price and location. Clean and friendly. Room subject to condensation. Bathroom extractor fan couldn’t deal with the steam from shower, probable cause for the damp smell in the room

Comfy stay

I had a comfortable stay at the Inn. Despite music in the bar, the room was quiet as right at the opposite end of the building. The ground floor windows should be frosted as they face the car park and requires one to leave the blinds down at all times. The carpets could be vacuumed a bit more thoroughly. But overall it was clean and comfortable.

Our rooms were very clean,comfortable and quiet. The bar was very lively with good food and excellent service. The breakfast was very good and quick service. We will definitely use again.

Check in was quick and straightforward however don’t stay here on a Saturday night if you are looking for sleep! Live band playing which is great but not when your room is right next to the bar and you need to get some sleep. The toilet seat was broken, lifted the lid and there is was in my hand and also the silver bit of the shower plug wasn’t attached. Struggled to get parked. On the plus side the room was clean could use an update but it was clean. I would have raised my concerns on check out but there was nobody around. Overall very disappointing due to lack of sleep
