I miss hot breakfasts since covid.

Although ‘soap’ was included in the bathroom, no shower soap, nor shampoo, was available….handsoap only. This unit is probably OK for a single traveler, but not for couples. Cheap furnishings and poor craftsmanship of finish work…trim, flooring, paint, etc. No air conditioning…just a small ceiling fan, with the pull-chain out of reach to adjust the speed. Regular size bed was mattress only, no box springs. Price was unreasonable for this property. Not impressed and will not return.

Just OK! If you’re looking for a great deal, then this is your oasis. No frills Mom and Pop roadside motel. Pretty cheap to stay there, but there’s just a single knob lock on the door. No deadbolt So my wife felt like it lacked security. The second problem was the room smelled like mold. They had a Damp- Rid bucket placed in the bathroom that needed to be drained and refilled with new Damp-Rid material to continue the process of removing the mold and must out of the room. The AC struggled to keep us cool. We personally won’t stay here again but it was economical and had some charm. If the necessary repairs and updates are made this place could be a contender.

Great place to stay.

Upon arrival I'm not going to lie, I was a little worried, but as soon as I opened the door to our room I was very happily surprised by the new and updated appliances, shower, tub, etc... This place looks like an older Inn on the outside, but the inside of our room was extremely nice. The only suggestion I have is to put up a drape over the bathroom window, because the stick-on / paint-on privacy material does not work very well and is already peeling. And it's a rather large window for a bathroom. Other than that, the stay was great. I did check out the breakfast provided one morning, and it was exactly what I would expect from any hotel. I didn't eat here but instead focused on eating in the area at other local establishments. The location is great and right outside the downtown shops, restaurants, and ferries to Mackinac Island.

The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The condition of the property was very poor. Mold on ice machine, wallpaper that is coming off the wall, hot water was inconsistent and luke warm when you could get it. The concrete was cracked in several areas by at least 1 inch difference. The door would not lock except for card reader latch. Won't be booking here again. But the staff was very nice.
