Was the classic motel experience I seeked

The apartment we stayed in was very nice. Not too much to complain about other than we noticed a dirty glass in the cupboard. But that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. We just didn’t use it and tossed it in the dishwasher. The check-in process was a little confusing but the staff in the lobby were helpful in figuring it out. The only major negative we experienced was that the area around the apartment had nothing to offer. No corner stores, gas stations for snacks, minimal food options. But that’s obviously not the host’s fault. Just something to be aware of when staying here. We had to uber to a circle K and a Taco Bell for late night snacks.

Our unit was very clean, modern and well appointed. The lobby and entrance floor was dirty and cluttered with leaves for the duration of our stay(likely only due to the rainy, windy weather that weekend). Great location, secure parking and plenty of restaurants within a short walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Was looking for a cheap room in the North Birmingham area and was able to come across this room, which was in the budget, but upon arrival into the parking lot, there was some noticeable cosmetic issues that you’ve seen as soon as you pulled in. Looked to be of green algae water stains from several of the air-conditioning units water drain drainage coming down beside a couple of windows. Inside was pretty clean and as far as anything else I cannot comment, because it was a literal place to lay down and get up early to take care of some business so I cannot comment on anything other than the cosmetic and appearance, pulling into the property. Other than that, the air conditioning worked and I was thankful for that.
