single room was good size and had all the amenities you would expect. Might be useful to take an eye mask if you are a light sleeper. The lights from the car park are very strong. Breakfast was as substantial as you would want it and all tasted good. The staff were very helpful

The Angus Hotel & Spa by Compass Hospitality
Had to wait 40 minutes for room, plaster fallen off from ceiling and walls in pool area, jacuzzi not working, lockers not working, water jet massager in pool not working, have to pay additional fee to watch weekend entertainment, not allowed to use facilities after checking out

The room was clean and nicely set up. Temperature was fine for early spring. Walking distance to restaurants down on the water area; but, the restaurant in the hotel was lovely. Great staff and tasty meal. The bed and pillow were VERY firm, if you like that, it's great.

Room was clean, comfortable bed, but building was in a poor condition with stains on bathroom ceiling and water damage round windows. Arrived late and there was no information in the room about breakfast times (or anything else).

Excellent hotel and very close to centre and shops staff so helpful and friendly and excellent choice of breakfast the only downside was lift to floors especially if you are disabled but very helpful staff try to accommodate
