"Disappointing"
There were only two people ahead of me at check-in and it still took 1/2 hour to get checked in. Staff very slow. I booked King bed and there were none left so I had to get room with two double beds. Both beds were lopsided and not comfortable at all. Floors were tiled and not properly cleaned. I could not walk barefoot on the floor without dirt sticking to the bottom of my feet. Bathroom was not properly cleaned during my stay. They replaced towels and made up beds. That was the extend of the cleaning. Tub, sink, toilet and floors were not dirty until last day.

"The Hotel Staff Deserve a 15 out of 10!"
The locals that work at OBB are absolutely awesome! From the beautiful smile of the check-in receptionist to the very helpful guys working the docks, everyone had a fantastic attitude! I felt very welcome; like some old friends were trying to help me. This included my cleaning staff, the bar tender by the pool, and the wait staff at the restaurant. I don't usually do reviews, but these outstanding employees deserve this review! That includes you Carl who I ran into on his evening off. He took time to introduce me to his family, etc., and offered me a drink. Thanks Carl! This review of the staff takes on more meaning if you understand that many of the staff's homes were destroyed in the recent hurricane! Talk about resilient and inspiring people! To management: Please share my kudos with your staff. You are very fortunate to have them and because of them, I will be back instead of going to Bimini. The facility endured a powerful hurricane this past year and is still repairing various areas. Although understandable, the deferred maintenance is my reason for a 3/5 rating for Facilities and a 4/5 overall rating. Once repaired, my rating would be 5/5. That and the "no-see-ums" (bugs that bite around dust and dawn) are my only complaints. To their credit, OBB was spraying some kind of pesticide around dusk. My advise: bring some good bud spray, your favorite fishing gear, and prepare to have a great time!!

"mixed feelings"
I loved the location. The hotel was nice but had some major issues, like poor air conditioning. Some of the service staff were excellent, others could be downright rude. Even with all inclusive expect to tip if you want attentive service. It's sad most of the resort is not open and won't be anytime soon. The locals are wonderful. I definitely felt very safe there. I would go back mostly for the beach because it is beautiful.

"Nice resort hotel on the beach"
The resort has a really nice ppolicy and Is right on s most excellent beach. There are rooms in the main complex andmore in 3-story buildings across the street. We had 2-bed/2-bath condo, well equipped, super clean and very comfortable. The resort is a bit away from things but there are shuttles downtown and to the airport. Service at poolside is as lax as we've come to expect in most hotels in the Bahamas, but isn't poor enough to spoil the overall experience. I'd go back.

West End is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in West End, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your West End hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
