There was an open air, no roof disco, dance club outside of my window which is part of the Strathcona. I was basically in a disco until the closed early in the morning even though I was in my room the entire time. It was extremely loud, and I could not sleep.

Very professional and friendly staff especially Elvie. The property is very accessible to all the Tourist spots and dining places. Also very convenient to transportation .Most importantly very clean and safe.Excellent stay!!

The hotel was clean and close to everything. Transit is nearby to get to the Ferry terminal, or Butchart Gardens. The suite room was excellent. Staff are nice, but not encouraged to think. They will not let you use the bathroom before you check in, even if you have luggage and are obviously a traveler. Same goes for the bar, no id? If you have a walker and 85...they still ask for it. Hotel is great, too bad people are not permitted to think. Knowing this, I would still stay here again. Just be sure to go the bathroom prior to arriving, and carry your ID if you want to go to the Sticky Wicket pub.
