It was exactly what I needed / wanted , clean , comfortable, safe. No frills, but that’s ok I didn’t want to pay extra for that stuff for this type of trip (here for a 1/2 Ironman).

Seemed sketchy when we pulled up, but it was clean, well staffed, and free parking, free ebikes, free kayaks, free (awesome) breakfast, and modern bathrooms a nice surprise! A great place to stay in the gorge!

The room was substandard. It smelled of dirty bedding. The bedding was insufficient, the blanket and sheets inferior, the curtains dirty. I would not have stayed were I not travelling with other people.

My stay there was really good and comfortable. The front desk was helpful with the recommendations for exploring places to visit and for food. Room was clean and stocked. They had complementary bikes and kayaks for us. I would definitely recommend this to all visiting Victoria and will book this myself in future.

The property was easy to find and clean inside and out. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom looks recently renovated. Very bright and clean as well. Took a couple of ebikes out for an afternoon. Highly recommend doing that over driving around downtown. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The Robin Hood is a little older than the pictures look but everything works and is kept clean. Breakfast gave a few simple options, no complaints there. Staff at the deak were friendly and had a few suggestions for food and such in the area when asked. I would consider it again.

Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was simple, but good. A highlight for us was the complimentary e-bikes! Hotel is located close to the Galloping Goose trail and we spent a whole morning biking along the trail. Staff was also very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Older building but nice renovations. The Great Room was a fabulous place to have breakfast and sit or watch TV for a break. Staff was great - friendly and accommodating. Would recommend it and would stay again.

The room was fine, and the beds comfortable, except the pillows which were blocks of rubber. The bed when the sheets were pulled back had blood stains and other secretions on it that were totally disgusting. The hotel did change the sheets immediately when we notified them. The breakfast is the worst we have come across in any hotel so far. The orange juice for example was colored powder mixed in water. They should simply shut this horrible continental breakfast down rather than leading people astray with this make belief offering of breakfast being included. Be aware that they do not come in to cleanup or refresh the room on a multi night stay. They will only cleanup and refresh the room if you stay 7 nights straight. The hallmark of a low end hotel. It's disappointing, as otherwise it could be an acceptable hotel.

Please, be sure to call this motel to book. I was told they will match any 3rd party Offer. I was denied a refund when the room I reserved was without a sofa bed because I booked and already paid through a third party site. The motel has offered me a rate reduction if I stay with them again, but it's likely I won't have to use thier services in the future.
