"comfortable"
Got to hotel, receptionist unsure of our booking but staff are friendly and very helpful. Food is average, but nice. Hotel rooms average and bathrooms clean which i was glad, ashame our shower head was loose and no hot water on our first day. Balcony needs some attention of cleanliness.

"Best Place in Apia"
Had the best time, Nathan and the team have done a great job. the pool is nice, the private beach is awesome, and the facilities are great too. I mean, it means something when you're there for a week and there are 3 weddings, and filming of a cooking show! It's clearly the place to be. Highly recommend.

"Close to the beach "
This is a great place to stay, staff are very nice and helpful. The room is well appointed. A struggle for me was being a pescetarian - only eating fish and vegies, this was actually not catered for very well, so this could be improved upon. Also better lunch options would be good. Beach off the resort is beautiful, fabulous snorkeling. However, wouldn't recommend for kids as can be very rough for most of the day. Place is good, just lacked a bit of pizazz.

"Top of the tree in hospitality & experience "
Top of the tree in hospitality, kindness, and architectural beauty Victoria and Jack were incredibly flexible and generous with us. Our family of 4 arrived too late at night to travel from the airport to Upolu, and Jack allowed us to move our reservation to another night at no extra cost. Jack gave us his own cell phone to use data when the wireless internet was out due to the storm, Victoria dried our clothes that got soaked from the storm, and they even took us to town in the midst of a storm to get a rental car, after our driver bailed out. Jack designed and engineered the treehouses and built it with his son using their own hands, with almost no outside help. The treehouse is a work of art! Especially the shower that butts against a gorgeous part of the tree. This is a celebration of nature and of the surrounding view of plantations, jungle and the south bay. We took both tree houses, so that our son and daughter wouldn't need to share a bed, so we got to enjoy both the star gazing experience (at the one bedroom treehouse) and the magical two story unit (where the room upstairs is accessed by a ladder). Victoria's and Anna's home cooked dinner and breakfast were generously sized and delicious! I think between the four of us we tried everything on the menu and loved EVERYTHING. The best part of our stay was sitting on the veranda of their home and listening to Jack's stories. Both him and Victoria are tremendously friendly, and Jack's rich life experience, includin

The Samoan Outrigger Hotel

"Good budget accommodation"
Our first trip to Samoa and we choose the Outrigger after a lot of searching similar accommodation. We had a look at similar nearby properties whilst there, but they didn't have the lovely big garden area and big pool. The pool and grounds were well maintained, including a lovely little cat called 'Ricky Baker'. The hotel is adjacent to a gym and their classes were noisy, sometimes starting at 6.45 am, and through the day making a sleep in, or afternoon rest difficult. The room was clean, and we had an en suite, though none of the usual shampoo and conditioner, or hand lotions were provided. The internet is really expensive at the hotel, so get a free Blue Sky card at the airport, or at various locations (5 Tala for 5 days, versus 25 Tala at the hotel for 2 hours). The room we had had a damaged sliding door making it really difficult to open and close as the sliding wheel mechanism was worn (this was mentioned in the review we were given to be filled in as we were leaving). The air conditioning was efficient and adequate to our needs. Being in a downstairs room meant a lot of noise at times from the upstairs guests walking on the wooden floors.

Upolu is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Upolu, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Upolu hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
