It's just an old building and the rooms need major updating. It didn't smell great in the room and carpet and shower head was nasty. It was a place to sleep, the towels were soft. Just not what I'm used to staying in when I travel, but other hotels were booked.

They wanted a $200 deposit on a one night stay of $100. I refused and said they needed to return my money or forget the deposit. There was nothing in the room that justifies a deposit let alone $200 worth. Do not recommend staying there again because of the staff rudeness and condition of the room.

The front lobby was dark when we arrived. Staff did not seem like they were eager to check us in. The room was dirty, smelled like cigarettes, toilet had poop stuck in the bowl, garbage behind the nightstand. Additionally, there was an old stove full of grease sitting by the stairs, beer cans, and other garbage.

soldotna in does not accommodate handicapped people, solo travelers, dogs, NORE service dogs. they lock us all out; & no stayy in house available at front desk until 7 am (sharp). they advertise "pet friendly" (untrue) they advertise "solo traveler safe (untrue) all they'd need to do is keep key cards ACTIVE, daily - without renewal daily ... to followed by non-stop keycard failure. i'd GLADLY write the staff & owner a grant for the experior "emergeny exit" upstairs. well. no refunds were made - despite the fact i purchased on Epedia? No.
