"Helpful Staff"
The front desk staff at the hotel were very helpful. The breakfast was just right, it had a fair variety of items and the breakfast staff were all pleasant. If we ever visit Reading again we will definitely stay at this hotel.

"It was very close to several venues I wanted to go"
The help was there when I needed help. Shower head was very plugged up and maintenance got it replaced right away. Daily cleanup went fine. Internet was rather full of advertising, but it worked okay. Give about for par for the internet. satisfied with everything overall.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating to us. They ensured that we had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and clean. The inn offers a modest continental breakfast. The only critiques are that the elevator was out of service and it looked like there was water leaking in the lobby. Overall we had a nice stay and I would recommend the inn.

"Nice option to staying in Lancaster."
Having previously stayed in a B&B in Lancaster and several different Lancaster motels/hotels, I was ready to try a nearby community and then commute to Lancaster. This B&B was overall a good choice. I am on the fence about the breakfast in your room. The pro: Kreurig, nice. If you're an early riser, you may eat whenever you want because the food is already in the room refrigerator when you arrive. The con: The food is precooked and you have to use the room microwave in order to eat the egg casserole. Definitely not the same flavor as when you're served a freshly prepared meal. The baked goods were average. I'm originally from Pennsylvania so I've had plenty of shoo fly pie. The shoo fly pies were average in taste. The same with the blueberry muffins---just average. The "juice" in the refrigerator was a watered down mystery beverage. Suggestion to the owners: Please include one sharp paring knife in the silverware drawer so the guests may slice the apples in the refrigerator. I would not book a room in the historic house--- although lovely-- because of the shared porch to the owners' house. Both the day of check in and the following morning, the owners' children and/or friends sat on the porch chairs talking for hours. They were not yelling, and well behaved (and I love children!) but it was disconcerting to have several voices talking right outside of your bedroom windows. Even with closed window blinds, the sound carried into the room and we felt we did not have privacy.

"Romantic getaway "
We stayed in a king suite with a whirlpool. The whirlpool was wonderful, and we loved the bed pillows! The meditation and herb gardens were beautiful to walk through, and the outdoor pool was tranquil. The chocolate chip cookies on the nightstand were also a nice touch. However, as soon as we were shown into our room, there was a definite musty smell. The room was very damp. So much so, that our towels and bathing suits never dried overnight hanging in the room. The sugar and creamer packets provided with the keurig were also damp. The bathroom door was swollen from the humidity and difficult to close. A dehumidifier is necessary! We still enjoyed our stay, but we would choose another room unless a solution was made to remedy it.

"Three day escape to heaven."
Unable to find hotel; called front desk and Braxton sent Joaquin to lead us in; Tamara made check-in trouble free. Loved room and amenities. Had trouble connecting wi-fi and John was sent to help. Next morning, restaurant hostess, Dee friendly and helpful, as was Jahila; server Christian cheerful and attentive. Breakfast buffet best seen so far. Housekeeping staff friendly and eager to help with requests. Marisol very helpful with check-out. Hugo demonstrated willingness to answer our questions. Overall experience was great.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
