"Sunny resort with a coastal breeze"
My husband and I came here for 5 nights for my husband's birthday and we had a fabulous time. I had been to the resort before (September 2016) and wanted to bring my husband here. The arrival process was swift and the staff member was very polite and helpful. It was a shame that we got two singles pushed together rather than a double bed, but the room was perfectly comfortable with sufficient pillows. Another shame was that we didn't have a bath (I did when I visited in September 2016) and the new shower unit wasn't easy to use - the button to change from lower shower head to upper shower head was very sensitive. Plus the pressure on the upper shower head was quite poor so I used the lower shower head mostly. The food tasted fantastic and there was a great variety. The drinks weren't great value for money e.g. a 200ml bottle of orange juice (so very small!) was 2.85euros. The evening entertainment went on quite late so you wouldn't be able to have an early night if you wanted one - although our room was situated quite close. The entertainment at the adult-only bar would go on until 22:30/23:00 and the kid's entertainment was going on strong when we would pass through at 22:00. The hotel resort is lovely with good sized pools surrounded by palm trees. Guests would put towels on sunbeds early (8am or before) which I don't agree with, but unfortunately we had to do the same in order to get a sunbed. It was a relaxing holiday and we felt thoroughly refreshed afterwards!

"Nice hotel, near the beach and shops "
I had a lovely stay in the Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa hotel. Pros- that are more then enough sun lounges, the spa facilities is good, close to the shops and the beach. There is three pools to choose from. Very child friendly and they have a lot of facilities for them. The restaurant manger and the one of the domestic staff were fantastic catering to your every need. The restaurant was available 24 hours so we were able to access breakfast before checkout at 4 AM. Cons- there is a language barrier with certain staff members, there is no kettle in the room. The spa facilities such as the sauna and steam room appeared to be switched off when the staff are on their lunch break considering the opening times was from morning to evening. There was nothing in the room to advertise what they had on offer in the hotel for instance we only found out about the minigolf on the last day.

Rooms on small side so would suggest if 3 or more book a suite. Standard rooms only suitable for 2. The sea food restaurant was exceptional. Evening entertainment very good. Location in terms of proximity to beach excellent too.

"Excellent location."
Very pleased with our weeks stay. We booked 3 rooms for 6 people on B and B. The rooms on floors 3 and 4 have no balconies, consequently, they appear a little on the small side. However, that is a small issue. The breakfast was excellent.

"Friendly Hotel, good facilities, close to beach."
We booked this hotel, on a bed and breakfast basis, last minute and were a little apprehensive due to its 3 star rating. However it definitely exceeded expectations. Staff, both in reception and the restaurant, are professional and friendly. The bungalow was basic but clean and air conditioned. The two pools are a really good idea, one being set up with lanes for a 'proper' swim, away from the family fun pool. Most days we tended to go to the beach, a short walk away, but on the days we used the hotel facilities there was no problem getting sun beds. Breakfast was very nice, lots of fresh fruit etc. We booked a shared shuttle bus through Expedia from the airport and it was a 2 hour 45 minute journey, on retrospect we would definitely have paid extra for the private shuttle or taken a taxi. Overall we had a relaxing weeks holiday, in pleasant surroundings by a lovely beach, in a nice hotel.

"Great hotel with all inclusive"
We stayed at this hotel for a week and we were given a superior room. The room was spacious, modern and spot on. It had a balcony and views on the streets and sea, nut it was still quiet in the evening. All inclusive is very good, with a wide variety of food. We never had the same food twice. You also have a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks: cocktails, beers, wine, sangria, coffee all included. Breakfast wasn't as varied but there is enough there for everyone (cereals, bread, pastries, pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruits...). The hotel comes with great facilities, right on the beach. The pool is small but you can use the sister hotel's pools which are bigger. There is also a great spa facility with free access, excellent for relaxing. The hotel is not the best for evening animations, mainly music night, but they have a lot of sport activities during the day. The hotel is in a nice quiet location, but 20minutes walk to Can Picafort which is really buzzing with bars and animations.

"Very good hotel with extremely polite staff"
We had an excellent week at Iberostar Playa del Muro. The hotel is really set up to have your kids very well entertained. Staff is extremely polite and ready to solve any minor problems. Radka was of great help since our first day. Ready to help and very efficient. Opportunities for improvement: pool with ocean view (this one I believe is not feasible anymore) and service at the pool and beach. Unfortunately you don't have the option to have drinks and appetizers being served while you are enjoying the pool or the beach. Overall we had a very good experience and would certainly come back.

Santa Margalida is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Santa Margalida, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Santa Margalida hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
