That was a beautiful property and very good room. Very quiet for a romantic gateway. Great view Restaurant on property was ok we only had breakfast and it was just ok. Coffee wasn’t good theses are the only cons- actually no wifi!!! I didn’t mind it because I used my data but I heard sometimes data is not working either so be prepared!!

The property is serene and gorgeous. There’s a coffee spot, restaurant, gas and gift shop. There’s the famous sculpture of the portal and the lights at night are a nice touch. I think people should have some reverence for the property. It’s not a park. There were children playing soccer and one on an e-bike zooming through visitors walking on the grounds.

The views are incredible and lots of fresh air. The walk down to the beach is worth it, if a little sketchy. Would recommend proper shoes. I experienced very poor communication with the staff after booking the hotel. They simply would not respond to my messages. Upon arrival, our check in was extremely rushed and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. It was as if we were wasting their time and they wanted us done as soon as possible.

Ragged Point Inn and Resort Was Awesome. Very Nice Room. Me and My Fiancee Always Try and Get Kingsize Bed. Amenities, Refrigerator and Microwave are a Must Have. Which They Had. Amazing Ocean View From Our Room. Beautiful Scenery on Property. Had a Restaurant and Coffee Shop on Property as Well. We Ate a Few Times at The Restaurant. Food Was Delicious.

Magical place

Ragged point is a magical place. This was the first time we stayed in the cliff house and we loved the master bedroom. The grounds are beautiful and the onsite restaurant and coffee house are great. We highly recommend Ragged point and love that they allow dogs.

Service lacking, location is not

Walked in the lobby to ask where the restaurant was to have lunch. A younger gentlemen greeted me with “Rooms won’t be ready for another 20, is there anything else I can help you with?” I turned around and walked out of the lobby and located the restaurant myself. Excellent. Waitstaff, excellent. View/ambiance, excellent. After lunch went to check in and luckily the younger gentleman was no longer at the desk. Praise be. Easy check in, went to room and it was a nice, clean room but it also overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It’s truly a 10/10 location, and if that younger gentleman wasn’t employed there as a customer facing person that has to use their mouth to communicate. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling up Highway 1
