"Excellent hotel with spectacular view!"
This hotel provides a comfortable setting from which to view the high Alps. Situated at the base of glacial peaks, the Sunstar Boutique Hotel gives one a base from which to hike, ski or simply rest amid spectacular scenery. It is a simple, yet clean and comfortable property. It has very amiable staff who are willing to help accommodate almost any request for assistance in planning a great stay. We went to Saas-Fee alon the spur of the moment, but easily found information on site to make our long weekend fun and adventurous. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

"Pleasant hotel in the heart of the village"
We stayed here in early March for the tail end of the ski season and had an enjoyable time. The rooms, while small, were comfortable and cozy. The website describes the bathrooms as partially open, which in our room meant that the toilet and a sink were in a separate room, while the shower opened directly off the bedroom with a sink beside it. This is fine for a romantic getaway (as ours was) but something you may want to consider if you're planning to share a room with someone who is not your significant other. Our rate included breakfast, which was ample and tasty. We had supper in the hotel restaurant once, which was good, though there are so many restaurant options in Saas Fee I'd recommend getting out into the village and trying a few of them, rather than eating at the hotel repeatedly. The staff were generally helpful whenever we had a question or request. A few things to note for your stay, if you're here to ski: - the hotel wasn't able to assist with pre-purchasing lift tickets, so we had to go to one of the ticket windows in the village and wait in line for about an hour to get our passes. -the transfer to the hotel took us quite a while. From Geneva, it took us a little over 3 hours to get there. -you can rent skis / boots at Cesar Sport. There are at least 3 in the village, so go to the one right beside the Alpin Express lift (hotel staff can show you on the map) and ask them to store your skis / boots there.

"Well situated hotel close to the main cable cars."
We stayed at this hotel for one week commencing Sat 5th September 2015 as we had often said that we would like to stay at Hotel Bristol. Our arrival was disappointing to say the least as we were only offered a glass of water on arrival, after a long day, having been up early at 2-45 am and arriving at the hotel in mid afternoon. Our room was much smaller than what we are used to in other hotels in Saas Fee,but it was spotlessly clean with a balcony with excellent views. We had only booked bed and breakfast and the buffet breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, but only continental breakfast. The waitress was very good indeed and attended to our every need every morning,Our room was comfortable but the beds could have been a little softer, they tended to be a bit on the solid side. The disappointment was that we never saw the bar open at all in the evenings, but this was not too much of a problem,as we know the village well and have our evening drinks at several different locations. We were disappointed that the owners never came to us to introduce themselves at any time during our stay,as we have always been used to the practice of owners doing so wherever we have stayed previously. However our overall opinion was that it was a pretty good holiday hotel and I am sure we would visit again if the occasion arose, and the price was right.

"hotel in good location"
3 star hotel in very good location, managed by the excellent Dom Collection. Friendly. Cindy does a great job and cares about her guests. Improvement possible: 1) Breakfast team is friendly but could be better trained and more attentive, often missing details such as replenishing food or making sure all is working well (egg cooker for example not cooking at all). 2) Wellness area has a sauna but no towels. Would come back especially if carpets get replaced with wood floor.

"Excellent stay"
Traveling as a family of four with two kids (ages 1 and 7). They picked us up at the parking garage and brought us and our luggage directly to the hotel. The check-in process was very pleasant and was a good indicator of the level of service we would experience for the remainder of our stay. The owners and staff are extremely warm and inviting. They went out of their way to make us feel like we were at home. Our room was nicely decorated and had a spacious balcony that provided an amazing view of the mountains. The beds and comforters were very comfortable and they also provided us with a crib and an extra bed for our daughter. If staying for 3 or more days, they will drive you and your ski equipment to the base of the ski slopes and they will take your equipment back at the end of your stay. They also offer complimentary use of a ski locker located at the base of the slopes. The hotel's motto is something like "make you feel like family". They certainly met that goal.

"Very friendly family run hotel with lovely rooms. "
We arrived at Hotel Allalin unsure as to how to get to the hotel and were greeted by transport from the hotel and taken there (which wasn't far but was much appreciated with our luggage and not knowing where we were going) and checked in easily. The hotel was great and we couldn't fault it. The room was lovely with a huge deep bath with views out onto the mountains, a really comfortable bed and great shower too. We did have a nice balcony with a lovely view but it was a bit too chilly to sit outside! As we were at the hotel out of season they gave us breakfast in our room for several days which was great - lovely fresh bread with ham and cheese and eggs. The couple who ran the hotel were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Would thoroughly recommend Hotel Allalin and we are hoping to go back this winter!

"Warm, central place to stay with a nice staff.."
The Hotel is very centrally located next to the village square. The best thing about the hotels is the "ice breaker crew", the name with which the hotel staff is known as. I was the first guest for this year summer season, my first visit to Saas Fee. Daniel, the 'dude' was very courteous in explaining to me the various excursions I could do. My only suggestion (maybe its mistimed) is to have a wider menu on the room service. Will be back in jan 2013...

Saas-Fee is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Saas-Fee, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Saas-Fee hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
