The rooms are extremely dated, elevators and doors are dirty. Limited parking, below average breakfast menu, curtains were stained and room was moldy. Windows had water dripping from them. My daughters allergies flared up after the stay.

Great location next to little village and geothermal amazing breakfasts and dinner buffet and amazing little store. Staff was amazing we would recommend hands down. The room was great but the only flaw was the bathroom appliances were rusted

Good location. Many attractions nearby. Spacious room (Deluxe), like the digital TV and blockout curtains. Average cleanliness, facilities dated and hard water stains very visible around bathroom hardware. Bath has stains and marks. Smell in the room (not the sulphur smell). Amenities of average qualities. Sleepers too thin and soft. Bed throw too old and worn out. Did not interact with any staff apart from frontdesk. Definitely has seen better days.

We always like to stay at Rydges when we come to Rotorua. Best pool, rooms are so nice and comfortable.

Liked being able to look out the window and see the geothermal activity around the stream. The trade off was the smell of sulphur, being so close. The balcony door was locked to adhere to regulations, i assume were to do with air quality. The staff were excellent and helpful at the desk. It was an overnight stop so my expectations were just for a clean and tidy room, which we did get.

Beautiful hotel. There was a mix up with check in. I was told that I coujd have early check in by Ella through email. But when we arrived, there wasn't any record of it. So we had to wait over an hour before our room was ready. Other than that, it was pleasant

Found a room service menu on Rydges website, ph in room didn’t work at all ordered room service using my cellphone to call the hotel operator connected me to the restaurant. Order placed at 5.10pm but not received until 6.40pm. I sooke to reception and restaurant twice to follow up the order before receiving it. The real kicker was I ordered $43.50 food charged $74 to my room when the food was returned and not signed for! The least they could do was remove the food charge at checkout.
