Very clean. staff was very nice. location is pretty good. The only thing i will say is that i was unaware of the tax per person per night that had to be paid in cash???? i thought that was odd. the hotel itself was nice though. beds eh but clean and spacious

The whole staff was excellent. The breakfast was great! It was easy to walk to the Vatican and many great restaurants. The river is steps away and a good walking and biking trail. It was an easy walk to the train station. Andet and Avy were very helpful with logistics and helping us track my son’s lost suitcase. They and Junior really made us feel at home. Our room was lovely. They gave us good advice and helped us save money, as well. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely time in Rome! It was our first time and the location of this hotel was really great. I was a little disappointed as I thought that all hotel guests had access to the terrace, which would have been nice to use, however the terrace is only for guests with a superior room. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a little slice of bliss. With its convenient proximity to the Vatican, Trastevere and solid walk to the glorious Roman sites you won't be disappointed in this hidden gem. 10 out of 10 we'd recommend and repeat our stay at Hotel La Rovere. Our room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious compared to most European hotels. It was equipped with all the amenities we needed and most importantly felt clean. The elevator is also a solid bonus! The staff are an absolute delight. Sadly, we didn't get everyone's names, but a few standouts are: Andet, Gilbert and our reception extraordinaire, the always accommodating and friendly Avy.
