"Room was very nice, tho bathroom is kinda small. "
We had made online reservations the day before, to be paid when we arrived. Upon arriving, the clerk initially could not find our reservations. I showed her my confirmation email. After some digging, she found us, said it looked like her manager had deleted it for some reason. She was very helpful, got us reinstated and into our room in no time. Thank You, we enjoyed our stay.

"Nice place but oh those clocks! "
Very clean and well appointed hotel. My only problem is the alarm clock in the room. It's a huge ipod dock with an absurdly bright display that illuminated the entire room all night long. There was no place to charge my phone near the bed. Other than that it was great, but the glare from the clock was really annoying.

"Great Value for Gateway to Death Valley"
Make no mistake. The price is right. The office staff are extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. The rooms are quite basic, as you would expect, but they are comfortable. Yet the rooms are rather worn and in want of some TLC, and in some cases, some repairs (we had no functioning lock on our door, for example). The morning breakfast is limited, which is not surprising. The location is easy to find, particularly when you are coming in late at night and just want to check-in and get to bed. The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean.

"Decently priced but..."
This is a small motel, seems to be independently owned. I've stayed here several times in the past couple of years while attending an event in Ridgecrest. First visit they were in the midst of a lot of remodeling/rehabbing, the first room I got was being used as a storage room for building supplies. I was switched to a regular room but I was struck by the fact that the staff was apparently unaware of which rooms were habitable even though it's a small motel. This recent trip I found myself in what I think was the same room as my last visit. The switch to adjust the wall mount air conditioning unit was missing, I had to retrieve a pair of pliers from my vehicle in order to operate the a/c. The a/c itself operated but poorly. A lamp next to the bed had a broken switch and could only be turned on by plugging it into the wall. The door frame looked as though someone had torn off several different locks and rather than being repaired it was simply painted over. The included breakfast was lacking, very little in the way of choices. But the staff are incredibly friendly and they do seem to care, when I told the clerk about the a/c and the lamp he took notes and apologized. If I had to guess I'd say that the motel is suffering from "just enough" syndrome. They do just enough in the way of maintenance and upkeep to keep open but not enough to increase their sales in order to really improve the place. I wish them luck.

"Road trip stopover "
After along hot drive through Death Valley this hotel was a welcome relief. First impression was a bit daunting as the car park was full of work trucks & the room was very basic. However there was a great pizza place a few hundred yards a way and a launderette a short drive away with a very helpful lady so we could wash a few of our clothes. We didn't spend any time exploring just had a good night sleep, had the basic breakfast and hit the road again.

Ridgecrest is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ridgecrest, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ridgecrest hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
