Disappointed

Needs to be completely refurbished. Floors were sticky and dirty. Towels were nice. Caulk in the bathroom needed to be redone. Also needs a new tub. Bathroom sink had a crack. Also I expect the room to be Clean when I arrive because I had to pay a pet deposit of $50. I have 2 small mini schnauzers who don’t even shed.

The hotel needs a major cleaning and update. The elevator smells of oil and grease. We were woken up by 2 women beating on our door. The hotel phone did not work. Had to look up number on cell to call front desk. He came up and said the woman was looking for her husband who was cheating! We left the next morning. Did not feel safe.

Front Desk Night and Morning Staff were friendly. Lady working breakfast was not professional. There was a fork on the floor and instead of picking it up, she just kicked it out of her way. Another guest picked it up. Bathrooms by the Exercise Room were disgusting and not stocked with consumables (TP, Paper Towrls, etc.) Our room was ok. Had to move the dresser for the tv cord to reach to be plugged in. When taking a shower, could see stuff other people had written on the bathroom mirror. I cleaned a sticky spill off the floor by the couch table (large soda spill). Hallways not vacuumed and lots of debris there. The large hot tub was good. Would not recommend staying here for the price

Wont stay here again.

Sad to say this is a very shabby hotel. They were almost totally booked up, so the only option was a suite. Great, I thought, nice jacuzzi tub and extra space. Nope. Shabby sofa, walls furniture all chips, scuffs, gouges, etc. Light bulbs missing or burnt out, peeling ceiling texture, vinyl floor was coming up in places.Just not cared for or maintained. Those things I decided to live with for 1 night. What I did have to report to the front desk.The sink stopper was stuck in the down position, so we couldnt use the bathroom sink because it wouldnt drain. It was a little chilly so we turned on the heater, which smelled like burning hair. There was also a motor sound that was quite loud. Donald at the desk overnight, offered no solutions. No I am so sorry for that. Did t even offer something as consolation, like a bottle of water or anything. He simply said, "Well, I have nowhere else to put you, we are completely full" even after I explained we werent looking to be moved since we had mostly unpacked. I would have liked to try the breakfast (it smelled good!), but they only serve til 9am, even on the weekends - super inconvenient. I won't stay here again and Im not sure Ill stay at this chain again either.

I mainly come to Rapid City for medical appointments. My daughter Lucinda comes with me most of the times. We try to add on a few days to the trip just to shop the downtown area. There are a gazillion places to shop and eat throughout the Black Hills! ♥️♥️ This is our favorite place to stay. Polite and helpful staff on every trip. Clean and spacious rooms.

Nice place to stay, Derick at front desk was very nice and accommodating. Bathroom sink needs some repair- countertop and sink are cracked pretty bad.. Breakfast was pretty good with juice, coffee, eggs hash browns and sausage.

Well...I'm not one to give bad reviews...but i can't let this one go. I'd give 1 star had it not been for the Hotel Manager and the gentleman cooking the food being very welcoming. However, the rest of the staff did not do well. My room was very dirty..floors were not swept, sheets were not clean, toilet had black stuff all over inside(probably mold), and countertops were dirty. Maintenance was garbage. I work in the maintenance industry, and believe me when I say, they didn't try. There were bottle caps in the drain of one of the sinks. That same sink did not work, and there were rags below the plumbing. Walls had drink residue on them. But the worst part..the noise. I shared a wall with a couple that was screaming and yelling at each other around 10pm. I asked the front desk if they could tell them to stop. He said he would talk to them...and the yelling finally stopped at around 1am. Then, the same couple woke me up with other sounds (if you know what i mean) at 5am..30 minutes before my alarm was suppose to go off. They were LOUD. However, they do offer breakfast. The breakfast is average at best, but it is still something. The maintenance "maintaining" the pool had his shirt off while working and did not look professional at all. Lastly, if you stay here..avoid a room that faces the parking lot. Aside from my hostile lovebird roommates next door, the sounds from the street kept me up all night because the street is right there. I wont be back. Proceed with caution.
