Staff is very friendly and the place was clean all the time. There could have been more activities like Zumba or other games around the pool. Apart from that and the seaweed, it was a good experience.

Very disappointed. Will not be back. Food was horrible, other than the Japanese restaurant was very good. Most of the staff was rude. Rooms smelled mildewy. Rooms and facility was clean .

RIU did not disappoint. We take an annual honeymoon and decided to spend this one in paradise; with great amenities, escuisite food and excellent staff. Room was comfortable and very clean, mini bar and spirit dispenser a plus. Staff was attentive to every request and grounds were exceptionaly manicured. This hotel is refurbished but it's clear how well it's maintained. Cons, but understood; DR is humid. Rooms are well air conditioned but one opening of a window will lead to damp rooms. Our mini frig was not working because it was left open and it iced over. I closed it properly and it defrosted overnight. The complex has 4 other hotels that we explored and we are making plans to return with our children. Evening shows were fun and entertainment team kept up the good vibes. we like the high octane party atmosphere of RIU party and disco opcions but also enjoyed some full relax days. Nice to now both are ready to suit our moods.

What I like about this Riu Hotel are the pool, foods and we can visit to all Riu Resorts. The beach is disappointing because there is to much seaweeds around, we didn’t enjoy swimming to the beach at all!

The resort was beautiful, the pool water was warm like bath water, so it was not refreshing, and could have been cleaned better. The beach area was gorgeous, sadly though the seaweed took away the enjoyment of the beach.

Amazing people helping all the time cleaning and making sure everybody leaves with the best experience. Food is not the best compared with other Riu facilities. Entertainment was amazing. I wish Dominican music and Dominican food could be more present.

The room I paid for wasn’t available once arriving so they told me that it would be available the next day and the next day I was transferred to a room that someone already was in and I accidentally barged in on them. I then went down to the lobby to let them know that they overbooked a room and then they still proceeded to book me to a different room with a smaller bed. Then after going back down to let them know that I still didn’t receive the proper room they then gave me a room where the tv didn’t work and was damaged for which they told me that someone would come and fix the tv but when they arrived I was told that the tv was too damaged and would be replaced but never replaced it. I was offered another room bc to have to move into a different room every night of my stay was a major inconvenience and didn’t allow me to enjoy my stay. The sewage seemed like it was stopped up bc it was a constant smell not only in every room I went into also around certain parts of the property which had me sickly my whole trip. Some of the employees were friendly but most of them stereotype you and you can tell by the interaction btwn different ppl as if you personally did something to them.
