"Great jungle place on the beach"
Well I have to say that after initial surprise of being in a jungle beach hotel, this place could not have been more terrific! The staff is great, you really feel like you are hanging with friends. Amazing location where you can hear and see different birds and monkeys. (Even a sloth). The pool is perfect with a nice hot tub attached. There is a yoga studio, risen in the air with a spa attached. Traci is the massage therapist who is extremely talented and her style is not to be missed. Make appt asap since she books quickly. Also dinner is 5 star quality and hosted by Toby who is the owner. The guys at the bar are really cool and treat you like friends not guests. ๐ŸนDrinks are good as well ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Just note: there is no AC and you are in a jungle so bring bug spray. The roads are gravel and not in great shape, other than that, Toby; I thank you and staff for letting us be part of this experience. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Also: you MUST take the Chocalate tour. It's not what you think and a 100 times better.

"Owner is amazing"
I had a great experience with this accommodation. If I were staying for more than one day where I was planning on spending any daytime hours there, I would stay somewhere else because while it is a beautiful clean two story space, there is no air conditioning in the downstairs. If he split the unit in two and there was air it would be perfect. It is hot in costa Rica. However, The man that owns it is absolutely wonderful and allowed me to stay in the room all day until my plane came to pick me up. He called taxis for me, delivered messages. Wonderful!

"Great place, a lot of potential"
The hotel has a good location and the staff is nice. However the rooms have no TV and the adjacent rooms have no sound proof, so you can hear everything going on in the room next to you. The toilets donยดt flush properly. If they can take care of those little details then the reviews will be much better.

"Oasis"
If you find yourself passing through Puerto Jimenez and want a comfortable, relaxing, made to feel at home place to stay while you are there, this is your spot. After walking the dusty roads of town for the day, you just feel completely welcomed when you walk through the gate onto the porch. The backyard truly is an oasis that matched perfectly between great conversation with the owners and ice cold Imperial. Terry and Katya have worked hard at creating an ideal atmosphere around the pool. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and the wifi is good. Unfortunately we didn't have hot water, but it was so hot out that it was actually a perfect temperature to cool off. I was passing through for business and not looking for any tours or action packed days, but there was plenty to find if that was what you were looking for. Instead, Katya called a local massage therapist to the Inn that gave me a deep tissue massage poolside and that was exactly what I needed. Puerto Jimenez is a quiet fishing village with great sport fishing and access to Corcovado Park, which I hear is beautiful and plenty of tours can be found. There are a few bars down the block, mostly a local crowd and things close down early. The restaurants on the waterfront are good, but the service fits the tico scenery, laid back. Bring bug spray on the waterfront! I would say Puerto Jimenez is more of a place to stop going someplace else or traveling the region, not likely your primary destination.

Puerto Jimenez is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Puerto Jimenez, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Puerto Jimenez hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
