"Lovely hotel"
The staff, the ladies who serve breakfast, the reception, the cleaning lady all fantastic. Position very good, close to port and bus stop, close to beaches. Larger beach 15 mins walk. Very lively resort with plenty of restaurants, night market, music etc Would recommend.

"A bit pretentious and over priced"
When I booked it was to include breakfast when we arrived we were told no breakfast, so anger set in I would never have booked it. The hotel is clean and tidy but definitely not a 5* more like 4* A very pretentious hotel trying to hard, there is no atmosphere or soul in the place. The staff are very polite. Went to breakfast a couple of times at 18 euros a time but if you wanted poached or omelette or fried eggs it would cost extra money which is a disgrace and outrageous. No coffee or tea facilities in room apparently health and safety I have never heard such dribble. The beds were quite hard hurt my back don't think I had one good night. It was a very expensive hotel way overpriced for what is was. However the pool area was nice. The hotel was in a good location a 20 minute walk to town if you missed the shuttle bus, mind you the driver was always miserable. The beaches were ok not golden sandy though Overall it was a very expensive hotel to stay in, rooms were clean and well kept.

"Nice hotel near centre of Palau"
We stayed here for nine nights during a period of extreme heat. The air conditioning was excellent and kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. The hotel is three minutes walk away from the centre of Palau and so was lovely and quiet at night. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and appreciated our attempts at speaking Italian. There are a couple of small beaches around Palau -one is a blue flag beach. We were fortunate enough to have friends with a boat who took us to many of the archipelago'sbeaches. La Madalena is a short ferry ride away and buses will get you to Olbia airport and St Theresa.

"Spotless Hotel, faultless staff"
Enjoyable stay at La Funtana. Staff were helpful and very polite. My request to upgrade to a room with a balcony was promptly dealt with. The hotel was very clean, towels were plentiful and bed linen sparklingly white. The pool area was pleasant with close access to the bar. La Funtana is just under 10 mins walk from the town centre but there are shops and bars along the way so is not isolated. Do not be put off by the initial impression as it is on a main, unattractive road. Only slight whinge is yet again only English tv channels were News channels., however tv not missed at all. We're here on B & B basis but didn't have breakfast which staff were very concerned about , which was nice. A great stat overall

"Beautiful hotel, excellent service. "
This is a beautiful hotel: wonderful location, well-appointed. Huge pool, boat transfer every 30 minutes to very nice private local beach. Restaurant nice; very expensive (€200 a head without drinks) for food that's nice enough but nothing special. In summary, very expensive but beautiful.

Porto Pollo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Porto Pollo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Porto Pollo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
