Needs some attention

Just okay. Seems like they need some TLC here. A lot out of service or broken during our visit, including the ice machine on our floor (2nd), juice machine in the breakfast area and a side exit door…which seemed like a fire code issue in my opinion (we weren’t permitted to use it.) Breakfast was not well stocked and handles to ladles and cloche’s were crusty and filthy. There was mold forming inside our AC unit. Fire alarm test alarm occurred in guest rooms at 8am.

The facilities were generally as expected, but it was startling the issues we came across with the hotel staff. At check in, the concierge repeatedly said I had not paid for the room and I had not been charged, despite my showing receipts through both my credit card and Expedia. He refused to look further or listen, and wouldn't even look at me. Eventually the other concierge offered to look through something on the computer and found my payment. After the inconvenience, we just given our keys without any apology or anything. My guests and I were baffled and offended by the interaction. The following morning we arrived at breakfast roughly 40 minutes before it was over and found very few items still in stock. Then, as we were getting our food, two employees had an open, loud argument about whether one employee was allowed to get food yet. They yelled about who was in charge, who had been there longer, etc. After the argument cooled down, one employee came over to our table and apologized for the intrusion ... then continued to argue for some time about why she was right and how long she had been working at the hotel. She seemed like she had good intentions, but was such an awkward interaction all together. I visit family in this area several times a year, and I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Good Location

Great location if you’re planning to take a trip to the National/State Parks. Several food options within walking distance. Not many complaints about the hotel itself. It can be noisy from the people above you. I was also a little disappointed going to the pool and another guest had to let me know someone got sick in the pool and there was no indication from the staff or warning signs not to get in. Other than that the hotel stay served its purpose.

A little disappointed.

They need to service their air conditioners cause since its hot outside they're not working properly had to have maintenance come to room and it still was working like it should. And the hot tub wasn't hot.i could feel the cold water coming in through jets it was only semi hot.And that was one of my main reasons for choosing there.But overall its a decent hotel.
