At first glance this is a quaint little hotel. But then the water damage to the front deck and entryway becomes quickly evident. There was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower head. We had a long day of driving and were too exhausted to complain. The gaps at the top and bottom of the door were large ebough for light and noise to disturb sleep. There was an iron but no ironing board. Front desk staff were not trained in local activities or attractions. The restaurant was just ok. The staff were great, especially the young lady who had just started there. The continental breakfast was very limited.

Problems in the restaurant equipment so nothing hot available. The staff tried but even the toaster didn’t work well. Very far away from anything like 20 km plus to Elliston or Bonavista.

Hosts were very accommodating when my flight coming in was delayed by a day, they were gracious enough to adjust my dates and the price and I appreciate that very much. Overall, the hotel feels a bit on the older/dated side and country (as I expected), however, I think that adds to the charm. Beds were comfy enough, there is a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner options. It was at a reasonable driving distance to the sights. I would stay here again.

Nice place to stay for the evening. Staff was nice. There is only the one restaurant in town and it is attached to this hotel and they close at 8. And there is nothing else around for 15 min.

This property needs updating, the rooms seemed clean but everything was quite outdated. We had 2 sinks in our suite but one was out of order, there was also burnt out lights. Everything is quite old, from the furniture to the bathroom.

Dated but clean. Fine for a place to lay your head. bed was comfy. 1. The doors to the rooms are beyond noisy even when trying to be quiet with them - you have to pretty much slam them. I had neighbours that were in and out all evening; i was pretty fed up by the time they went to sleep. 2. The restaurant - vile food. NO veggie options other than fries, rings, side salad. They have tacos on the menu - how hard would it be to add beans instead of meat? 3. Front door is kept unlocked all night. 4. No phones in the room - not good for international travelers without a local SIM in case of emergency. 5. Staff nice; check-in was a breeze.
