Casa Andina Premium Cusco

Plazoleta De Limacpampa Chico - 473, Cusco - Map
"Yes Casa Andina but not "Premium"!"
I stayed in the Casa Andina Premium in Arequipa last year and it was far and away better! Casa Andina sent me a link to "iPrefer" and I joined based on their request. The hotel did not honour this and I had to produce the email. There were no upgrades or additional features. The first room offered was unacceptable and we asked to be moved. After consulting with the manager we were then offered high speed Internet ( as shown in the iPrefer card). I thought our stay included breakfast - they said it did not (54 soles per person and not great). There was no complimentary water and no amenities. I am not sure why they call themselves "Premium".

"Affordable hotel near the Plaza de Armas. "
This was our first time in Cusco. We were looking for an affordable hotel that wasn't a hostel. Hotel Yabar Plaza fit the ticket. Everything is as advertised. Check-in was quick and seamless. Our room was small, very simple but comfortable enough for two nights. The rooms are connected directly to the main atrium of the hotel. Our room was right near the dining room, so we were a little worried about noise. But, we had two early mornings, so it wasn't a issue. This is definitely a nice hotel if you are looking for something affordable and simple. The breakfast buffet was small, but there was a lady there to make eggs and her omelettes were delicious.

Fallen Angel

"Wonderfully quirky hotel with amazing staff"
My wife and I spent a total of 6 nights at Fallen Angel during our Peru honeymoon, and we loved the place. Before we even arrived, they became the first hotel that's ever proactively messaged me on Expedia - asking if we needed anything, such as coordinating transportation to the hotel. We spent five nights in the yellow room, which had a loft and a balcony, then went for a 5-day trek, and then spent one night in the red room. Both rooms had wonderfully quirky and interesting art and furniture pieces, most of which have something to do with Peruvian traditional or colonial life. Uniquely, Fallen Angel also puts a lot of effort into making their bathrooms unique and interesting as well. What stood out most with Fallen Angel for us, though, was their staff. The hotel has four rooms, and is otherwise a restaurant. All of their restaurant staff can work with hotel patrons, so while there's not really a reception desk, there are always staff around to help with anything you need. All spoke good English, and they helped us with arranging tours, taxis, 4am boxed breakfasts, and helped us work around some major protests that were going on at the time (and blocking roads in the city). They are happy treating the rooms as essentially extra restaurant tables, and serve all their food and drinks to the rooms. Breakfasts were delicious and served to the room at times that we requested. Overall, we'd very highly recommend Fallen Angel, particularly for couples.

"Unexpected elegance in the centre of Cusco"
An amazing find. The owners have thought of every little detail a woman could want, right down to magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Exceptional beds and pillows. Staff super helpful including checking us in online for our flights. Four block walk to Plaza de Las Armas. We left early for the airport (before breakfast) and they had coffee waiting for us at the desk along with packed meals to take with us. Our biggest regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pisac hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
