Yes they welcome pets. I did have pet hair on my clothes from a previous person with a dog. We did not have a pet The bar was perfect,dinner delicious.

Timberline Lodge - Arnold - Bear Valley
We stayed in the "Family Suite". It had more than enough space for a family of 4. It was very quiet as it was in the back away from the main road, and underneath. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the shared patio area.

Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking ...
