Was under construction. Rooms were extremely tiny/very tight. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels not even a hand towel. You had to carry suitcases up narrow, turning steps. Was a small lift, but you still had to carry your suitcases up steps after getting out of the lift.

Our family room the beds were so close together you could hardly walk around or get in your suitcase. The bathroom was so small you could wash your hands while using the toilet. The construction was going on in the main lobby and there were people getting stuff outside our room and looking in. It made it difficult to get out bags past the people painting in the lobby. We paid a lot for nothing.

Eiffel Rive Gauche Paris

The check in was easy and staff very friendly and helpful. The building is typical for a European city. The room was small but comfortable for myself a solo traveller. Would not be suitable for anyone using walking aids etc as the bathroom and shower amenities are small which is acceptable in a building of its age. The double bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Hairdryer, safe, hanging space, air conditioning, coffee & tea making facilities, toiletries available. The lift is very small, 1 person & 1 bag only The lack of space was made up by the view of the Eiffel Tower out of the window. At night it was amazing. Breakfast had something for everyone and was very nice. There are many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets etc within walking distance and only 8 minute flat walk to the Eiffel Tower. This hotel is a little gem for a small Paris stay close to everything. The only warning is if you can’t lift your suitcases up 6 steps then level 4 is not suitable but it was worth it for the view of the tower out of the window.

They were doing renovations. The lift did not work, there was constant noise, air conditioning temperature could not be changed and the television only had only 5 channels. Although check in was at 3 pm, they had no rooms ready. Be prepared the rooms are the size of a closet. If you are planning to stay more than 2 days this is not the place. There is no place to place your clothes in the room. The only saving grace was it was a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. I would not recommend this place.

The property is situated on a quiet side street near the Eiffel. The property is old, but has some modern touches such as a small elevator and an updated bathroom. The rooms are very small and barely accomodate two people with carry on size luggage. Anything longer than 2 nights, and it would have become claustophobic. The bathroom, while recently update, was exceptionally small and had zero storage space; not even a hook for towels or a ledge to hold tolietries. I couldn't shave my legs with the shower door closed becuase there is no room to even bend over. The view of the Eiffel was great esepcially at night, however, the lack of space, no in room amenities, no storage space, no direct elevator access to your floor without having to use stairs, the AC not being cold, having to use a floor fan to cool off, left a lot to be desired and the nightly price rate was high for the lack of amenities. I would recommend this place for a single (solo) traveler with a small luggage who is looking for more of a base-level lodging option. The staff was nice and helpful and that alone made the stay somewhat better.

The hotel is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, plenty of restaurants and bakeries close by. My complaints are that the building had dried paint splatter on the walls and floors/stairs from renovation. The room was not aesthetically pleasing as under renovation. Room walls were not completely painted, shower door did not seal well and bathroom floors got soaked after every shower. Safe did not lock. Deadbolt on door did not work, and was not fixed after notifying staff.

Location was great. Room very small, but who cares when you are only sleeping there? Wish they told us in advance that they don’t provide any hand or shower soap.
