Keo Hotel - Ovalle Casino Resort
Had to move rooms as my room was being fumigated. Was informed day I had to move and was not able to move my own clothes and luggage. Was not able to make it back to hotel but they still went ahead and moved me. They did give me a bigger room but it was only last night.

This property is beautiful, lush roses, two pools and a jacuzzi. It is well maintained by the staff at all times between the gardening, cleaning and covering the pools when no one is in them to make sure no bugs are in the water. Location, location, location. That is all you need to know. Oh, they have secure motorcycle parking. That too is important. And the breakfast is AMAZING! But Location Rules. And this is just an amazing location. If you want a new, Americanized place, this might not be it. Hot shower too!

Super kind owner who really values honest conversation. very welcoming and helped me out a ton with finding things to do and planning things in La Serena. Place was also very clean and walkable to other areas. The breakfast was so good, filling, and simple that I recreated it back at home.
