Excellent service the hotel is undergoing a renovation hence the for stars for certain criteria’s. The staff are always ready to help and go out of their way to help you out. The food was excellent and a great variety some limitations with the half board options.

Fantastic neighborhood and nice hotel. It has everything one needs without being fussy. An incredible value.

Horrible experience at this hotel. The refrigerator was not working - after repeatedly reporting for 3 days, one idiot came from maintenance team. He said it’s not a refrigerator but it’s a chiller!! I told him to open it and check if it’s “chilling”. He put his hand in and said it’s working fine. He said he can swap it but the new one also will be the “chiller”!! Told him to get out finally.

I usually don't like writing negative reviews, but Hotel Grand Central is in serious need of renovations or refurbishment, as my family's stay wasn't exactly the best. First day we checked into our room, it was strange that our room door was open, that I didn't notice much at first. However, first night asleep, it was strange as I kept getting the wafting smell of sewerage. It wasn't until I left the room and returned, I could smell the strong odour of sewerage. I requested the room to be deodorised on the second day, however when I returned to the room, the sewerage smell was still quite strong. The hotel staff were very understanding, as they attended my room and were also taken aback from the smell. We were shown another two rooms to choose from. The first room directly above our original room also had a strong sewerage smell. Fortunately, the second room did not smell as bad, but the odour was still there. The beds were smaller too. Apart from the odour, the beds were comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately housekeeping closes early in the evening. The rooftop pool is quite nice, but the deck is in need of service as some of the boards were coming loose. Would have been nice to have towels provided in the pool area, but there were none. Hotel's location is quite good as it's close to food, shopping and transportation. It would've been a good stay if it weren't for the odour issues.
