My wife and I had a good experience at Barcelo Aruba on our 10th anniversary. Overall, the resort is nice and has everything you need in an all inclusive. The location is excellent with a beautiful beach and close by to many other things that makes a quick walk to shops, restaurants, bars, and excursions. A few things that could be improved: The bed in our room was worn to the point of being uncomfortable to sleep on. Room cleanliness was average. The buffet food and drinks were average, but better than some other places we’ve visited. Our two favorite reservation restaurants were Italian and Mexican. Lina (server at Mexican), Ruthie (server at Palms buffet), June (server at Hibachi) all gave excellent service! Getting a good spot on the beach means you had to get up early, claim a beach chair with towel before everyone else snagged a spot- some extra cabanas would’ve been nice as there’s not many of them. We didn’t upgrade to the royal level which means you had one outside bar option at the pool- not a big deal but you are limited without access to the bar on the beach. We’ve stayed at many Caribbean all inclusive resorts, overall the Barcelo Aruba rates about average among the rest.

It is in a great area. The awful thing is the property need a huge upgrade. First room had leak in tiles and moldy smell. Second room had a broken light switch, flashing bulb, and string pot smell coming from vents. I declined cleaning service until I left and I even put the do not disturb sign outside. I was shocked when I returned late because they made the bed and changed towels. I asked if it’s normal to do that at front desk they said no but then security said yes. I didn’t appreciate the privacy issue being broken

Room was good and last minute Due to the timing of my arrival and check in The best part for me was the Japanese hibachi dinner for my birthday … ambiance , staff and food was amazing. Breakfast was always great … the beach was something I truly enjoyed. The entertainment was ok but not something I’d go for. The massage was needed for this birthday trip

The resort overall had a great balance of fun and relaxation. We spent our days between the beach and the pool, tried a few water activities, and enjoyed the nightly shows. The staff everywhere were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really made the stay memorable. I’d absolutely recommend Barceló Aruba, especially if you want a stress-free getaway with amazing service. We’ll definitely be back!

We chose this resort for our first time in Aruba because of the all inclusive food/drinks and the easy access to the beach. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. They were very helpful when we were going around the island by offering recommendations and helping arrange taxis. Just across the street are some shops and an outdoor market, which made buying gifts and souvenirs very convenient. Would love to explore more Barcelo locations in the future!

We had a great time. Did not like that every time housekeeping cleaned the room they did not put clean towels. One night they took our towels and we had to call the front desk various times and even go up to the front desk to get the towels.

This hotel,should be renovated . room had mold, Manager needs to be replaced, facility conditions terrible, cleaning service horrible. Upon arrival, i was placed in a room that was a real disgrace, Never willll I visit again. the only saving grcde, was the location. There was no VIP upgrade, offwred, 2nd rom placed into ws just as bad.. I will continue the chain coporate ffice directly.
