Bed was extremely stiff and uncomfortable room was small. Location was best thing about this hotel also tv was outdated and sounded strange and only basic cable channels available.

The location of this hotel is great. Greeting staff was friendly. Parking is not great. Limited spaces and an underground parking garage that was dark and kinda scary. The elevators were down while we were there: not sure if they are always down or what. We were notified upon arrival that they were out. If this had been a summer trip parking would not be an issue I’d walk but didn’t feel safe walking around after dark. The beds were lumpy as one other reviewer notes showers were semi warm - no indicators on which was hot or cold. We had asked for room service one day during the 3 day stay and after making a complaint about the elevator we did not get room service. One night we wanted to eat dinner together at the table and I had seen 2 chairs in other guest rooms so called to inquire about a 2nd chair and was told there was none. If my goal was to not be in the room about and be out and about I might stay again in the summer…when walking is more okay to ensure there was a parking spot. Also noting: after 6/7 only one option for food close by. Other options are about 2-3 blocks away.

Everything was great. Staff was super nice and the room was nice too. Just wish the elevator worked, as we were on the 3rd floor, but they had just had a crazy storm that took the power out for a little while, so maybe it was because of that, but we definitely got our steps in. Look forward to staying here again!

The online pictures are definitely a catfish. The rooms are clearly old and use older AC/heating units. The rooms have to be aired out constantly otherwise a sewage like smell accumulates. Otherwise a decent stay, with lovers point park just across the street and cannery row a 15 min walk away.

Great location. Oceanview. Close to good food, the long trail, marine research, Aquarium.The room was clean and comfortably appointed. Bed was firm which I like. I didn't see duvets or blankets, though the bedclothes kept me comfy.The storm caused a lengthy outage of a few hours. They offered emergency lamps. Thankfully, the power returned by evening. Staff was friendly. Elevator was out the whole time.The outside could use some work. Trash area was messy maybe the storm. Unfinished paint area.

Clean Room, Good Staff, Very helpful. Power went out, took a day and a 1/2 to get back on. No Surprise! since it’s Newscum’s Power Company. the Hotel provided us with a lantern and a flashlight. Very Nice!
