I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and it was private and clean! We really liked it overall however the AC was broken and the bathroom door didn’t fully close. Because it wasn’t too hot when we stayed, it was okay without AC but I can imagine it getting pretty stuffy in the summer. We walked to the downtown area and the beach and it was a safe and beautiful neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

The area seems under construction as old on the outside but I really enjoyed the interior of the room we stayed in, it felt like a camping trip. I really enjoyed our stay. I really want to come back again

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The property was quaint, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for in a Carmel getaway. Our room was spotless, and we appreciated that all of the amenities and fixtures felt new and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive with cleaning services throughout our stay. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this inn to anyone visiting Carmel.

The room was very clean & spacious. The area was quiet & within a half mile walk to downtown. The staff was also quite friendly. No pool but if thats not an issue, is a great cottage type atmosphere to spend the night. Thanks Carmel Resort Inn.

The Carmel Resort Inn was a pleasant place to stay. The room was clean, although not exceptionally so. The refrigerator was set very cold and caused some of our food to become icy. Clean towels were provided during our stay. Housekeeping services were available upon request, but they did not automatically service the room or remove the trash daily unless the trash was placed outside. Overall, the stay was comfortable, and the location was convenient.

A very cozy, enjoyable, recently renovated bungalow. But due to remodeling in process, the grounds were a bit disheveled. Still, the staff were helpful and cheerful. A great change of pace from your typical hotel/motel experience.
