Very tidy and clean, very much a basic place to stay. Close to Trader Joe’s and about two miles from ocean. Would stay here again. In a safe and quiet area.

I really enjoyed my stay. My wife and I reserved a room with a king size bed and fireplace. The mattress was super comfortable. There was also a great selection of cable channels. This is now my go to spot when traveling to Monterey.

First night was very peaceful and quiet but the second night there was so much noise from upstairs, the next door guest and kids screaming till 11:00pm. The room was nice but a bit cramped but we made it work. Over all we’d give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars ⭐️

The Arbor Inn was clean, located close to Monterey downtown, and the bed was very comfortable. I’ll likely stay here next time I’m in Monterey for the Monterey Jazz Festival.
