The property and room were exactly what we expected. Half a mile walk from where we ended up eating most of our meals and it was easy to get an Uber or Lyft if we wanted to go farther without driving. Parking was easy and the room was simple, but perfect to sleep and get ready in.

The hotel was okay. It wasn’t the cleanest. Upon arrival I used the bathroom and when I went to dry my hands there was a towel with hairs and it was stained as if they didn’t change the towel from previous stay. Staff requested to see towel before handing over a new one. Website stated daily housekeeping but come to find out they don’t do any housekeeping during your stay, not even requested. Overall I would not stay here again as it is apparent owners try to minimize cost as much as possible.

I enjoyed my stay at the Arbor Inn and will be staying again the next time I am in Monterey. It was a short drive to several different restaurants and local attractions such as the aquarium/cannery row. My room was clean and comfortable.
