"Good and bad."
Staff at desk were wonderful, helped with restaurant ideas and parking. Beach was close to the hotel- 1 block and did not have to cross any streets. Hotel walls and room were very clean. Only 2 problems. The French doors would not lock or stay shut, letting in the heat and humidity. We put a suitcase in front of the doors to keep door shut which helped. Also the carpet in the hallway and rooms is filthy!! Large stains and it smells!

"Great place for a lil beach Trip"
This is my second time at this place. My daughter and I come to Dewey for a few days and this place works just fine. Room was clean, staff was polite. There's a lil walk to the beach, but nothing crazy. We will continue to stay here for future trips.

"Good customer service."
Nice room, clean, spacious, deck, sofa, microwave, table and chairs. Customer friendly staff and good location, close to beach and other essentials. The main thing missing is a view, if that's not important this is your hotel. I will use them again.

"Great location, great for families"
Our suite, with a king-sized bed, living area, and kitchenette*, was clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly firm, unlike most hotel beds which sag in the middle. The hotel is right on the beach and has a large indoor pool which my teenaged kids enjoyed. There are a number of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store just across the street. There's also a mediocre restaurant (Schooners) in the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On our last morning I noticed water on the bathroom floor, probably due to the toilet leaking. I called the front desk and within minutes a repairman knocked on our door. One thing to bear in mind: the rooms are arranged around an atrium, which contains the pool. There's a games area with a video arcade, pool table, and air hockey table next to the pool. You'll be able to hear people splashing and shouting in the pool until 10PM and you'll continue to hear occasional loud noises from the games area until 11PM. This didn't bother us because we go to bed late, but it might be a nuisance for light sleepers who go to bed earlier. *Kitchenette contains normal-size fridge and freezer with ice-maker, two-burner electric stove, microwave, mini-dishwasher, sink with disposal, dishes, glasses, mugs, forks, knives, spoons, utensils, trashcan, dishcloth, towel, dishwasher powder. I'm not sure if there were pots and pans because we didn't look for them.

"Good location to restaurants, beach, night clubs"
Stayed for 4 days 8/17 - 8/20 in a double king room overlooking the pool. The room was clean and roomy but a bit dated. Pillows are very soft so you may want to bring your own if so inclined. Walk to the beach is about 8 minutes and there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nice sized balcony to sit out. The shower had excellent water pressure. Pool was clean and the hotel overall was clean. Only complain is that this hotel seems to attract quite a bit of 20 somethings so be prepared for late night noise in and around the hotel of "drunken" millenials. The cafe was a nice feature and the food was good and inexpensive for OC. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Millsboro hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
