"Very clean & well maintained, comfortable bed. "
First off, this place is traditional 1940's built road side motel, about 14 rooms in line, all ground floor. I enjoy these old places and picked it for this reason, plus the fact that it had very good reviews. That said, if you expect big chain hotel style luxuries -- then stay in a big chain hotel... Driving up you notice the lawn, parking areas and building all have a very well kept appearance. We checked in at 10 AM as we were going to a wedding and would return late -- no problem. I requested a quiet room so the owner put us in the back. Remember this is a 1940's building, so the room and bath are both small & basic but very serviceable. Our room was spotless clean top to bottom. The carpet and bedding appeared new, the drapes were heavy and kept the light out. The queen bed was very comfortable, air conditioner quiet and the wi-fi worked fine. I didn't try the TV, it was a modern flat screen. The bathroom was spotless and in good repair, shower had good pressure and hot water. Summary: Quiet, comfortable stay in a neat old place that is very well maintained, it is obvious the at the owner takes a lot of pride in his business. Bonus: Right next door there is a neon signed silver sided diner, awesome original interior and a good breakfast too! Happy traveling!

"Comfortable, friendly and next to a restaurant."
Power went off about 5am. Enough light through the windows at 6am to dress and be on our way. No problem and not the fault of the hotel.

"Old But Nice People"
Nice, quiet, spacious although just a bit dated. Adds to comfort and charm overall though. NO WIFI in Room. Problem. They have it in main building but most cottages and townhouses detached. Again, you probably shouldn't go to a resort expecting wifi. Quiet and peace are a lot more important. Electrical switches (and there are more than any I've ever seen anywhere) are confusing. Had to ask twice about layout and operation of things. Although, when you have two TV's, ceiling fans, heat, and gas fireplaces it's expected. John runs a really nice and comfortable place. We loved it despite age and it was a restful stay. They need better maid service though. She like asked us if we wanted maid service as we were going out. You just like clean up without asking as it's your job. Anyway, this again has to do with size. If you go, ask for a townhouse or cottage. You will be impressed. Meals are massive and filling. Breakfast is superior and early bird 12-6 is a steal compared to local prices. They had two buses in JUST for the meals. Pretty impressive food.

Milford is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Milford, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Milford hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
