Balcony faced a parking lot . The (screen ) door was not easy to slide open . I was not comfortable using the door . Didn’t use the balcony . Could not use the tub , only shower .

The Esenhaus Inn has been our favorite place to stay. It is very quiet and beautiful. Had a balcony room which we sat out on and watched the geese and ducks in the pond. Shopping and the restaurant is walking distance. Staff is very friendly and very organized. Their breakfast had a good variety of choices. Will be back .

Lots to see and do within 10 to 30 minute drive from this hotel, my favorites were Saugatuck (small village on Lake Michiga) and Johners nursery just minutes from hotel

My in-laws love this area. There’s nothing technically WRONG with the property—it’s just definitely….for older folks. Everything about it screams “made for your grandparents”. I do think that’s the image they were going for. And I was there for a concert and not the area. But it would never be a destination were it not for that.
