"Very nice, perfect base for exploring The Dales"
The CB Inn is a traditional country pub with some more upmarket elements. The bar is well stocked and staff very attentive. We were shown to our room (7) and given what we thought was the main information (dinner, breakfast etc) but weren't told about the residents lounge area which we found by accident when leaving! The room was clean and tidy and a nice touch was small bottles of fresh milk for tea/coffee being available in a small fridge on the landing. The seal around the bath looks tired and unsightly and needs replacing as it spoils the feel of an otherwise very nice room. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and the food was delicious and well presented. I do think a couple more vegetarian main options would be good as there was only 1 item available. We sat in the bar after dinner where the atmosphere was very friendly and it was nice to chat with the staff, including the chef. Upon retiring to bed, we realised our room was directly over the bar and the noise carries up a lot. If you go to bed before 11.30 or want to sleep beyond 8 do not book Room 7. While a little annoying, it was fine for us. Breakfast was again delicious and good quality. Plenty of choice but not overwhelming. Overall a very nice experience, We will definitely be returning.

"Romantic and beautiful hotel "
Amazing stay - we stayed in a four poster bed, which was in one of the turrets. It was a romantic hotel and the staff, as well as the setting just added to how lovely the stay was. Would recommended. Also would recommended the birds of prey experience, which is in the castle grounds, added to the amazing experience

"Great Value"
Lovely location by the river. The public rooms were rather careworn but we had a nicely furnished bedroom, large with room for 2 single beds and a double. The only criticism would be the lack of powerpoints for today's phones and tablets but at the price we paid we can't complain too much.

"Period Country Inn in stunning countryside "
This was a truly memorable stay in a comfortable period Inn set in the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales As we were staying for 4 days we paid a bit extra for a larger room with a view of the Dales. It was certainly worth it and the bed was really comfortable. The Inn is actually very efficiently run but the staff are very friendly and helpful so it creates a relaxed informal environment in which to enjoy the holiday. The Inn offers a fairly extensive menu and the service is excellent. The food is delicious and well presented too. We would love to stay there again.

"Somewhere different"
Redworth Hall Hotel has an amazing frontage. And with its grand entrance you'd expect a hotel with character. It sort of has it but it could be better. The dining room's a bit bog standard 90s hotel style. I realise the bedrooms and bar/restaurant is in the part that was added in the 90s, but you'd think they'd try to emulate the grand manor house throughout to make it feel special. The spa is OK but it was full of children who were jumping in the pool and made swimming impossible. Staff didn't seem to care either that there are clear rules about jumping into the pool. It just isn't big enough to be a fun pool and for leisure swimming. I also had issues in the spa. I paid upfront for a spa room and was then told it wasn't, so I couldn't have robes. I did choose a spa bedroom and have the Expedia proof of purchase, so there's something amiss there. The staff member said my room wasn't on the floor with one of the spa rooms, but it had a jacuzzi bath so, according to the hotel website, it was! It was embarrassing and there needs to be clarity. Finally, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Beyond those niggles, it was a lovely stay. If the interior could reflect the history parts then it could be outstanding. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable - other than the bed! The food was good too, though the beef rib was a bit dry. My salmon and prawn roulade was fabulous and the garlic prawns that my partner chose was equally as tasty.

Marrick is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Marrick, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Marrick hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
