The room was very clean and the breakfast was good with many choices. I enjoyed the decor more than the newer modern build hotels which seem very stark. The pool was nice for kids and overall had a very pleasant stay.

This place is very well kept. The staff are attentive to keeping it clean and in good order and there is always someone nearby at the front desk, in the lobby or in the dining area. The pool is clean, the breakfast area is clean and the breakfast has a large variety and is attended by staff to help guests. The room is clean and comfortable, the air conditioner works great and the room is quiet. The area has a few lakes including one behind the hotel and a big one across the street with nice views. The immediate area around the hotel is small town, go about one mile in one direction it is country, go one mile the other way is lots of shopping, restaurants, fast food, convenience stores and then after that is the town of La Porte with lots to do. A great hotel in a nice area.

I had requested a handicap room that had a wheelchair accessible shower, restroom facilities. I had to work with two different front desk attendant in order to get the accommodations. The second front desk attendant was awesome in getting the accommodations I needed for my mother. It's vital that staff understand the needs of those with special needs. Thank you, Jackie Cerkowniak

Our room was clean and so was the lobby and breakfast area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room hvac unit worked well but we like to be able to run the fan constantly while sleeping and this system wouldn’t allow us to do so. It was quite warm in the building. Breakfast was decent and somewhat typical eggs with cheese, biscuits and sausage gravy but no meat. Everything seemed fresh. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
