Room was clean but facility is older and rough around the edges. The toilet backed up, the hot water ran out, the lock on the door is flimsy (just a doorknob lock) and overall this place a real budget hotel experience. If I were to visit Arenal again I would definitely stay at a nicer place

The address is confusing since it is to the next door property but we eventually found the place it. It is nice please, 10 to 45 minutes drive to any thing you need, easy parking. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was good enough.

Great location out of the way of the hustle and bustle of downtown La Fortuna with plenty of restaurants nearby, but also close enough to La Fortuna. Fantastic view of the volcano from our room. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the breakfast spot delightful. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very outdated, especially the bathrooms where the faucets look like they’re decades old.

The staff was excellent, they helped us in the planning of the tours and what to do in the city, the breaksfast was great, you had three options, all delicious. The view to the volcano from the room was perfect. Now, the hotel is old and it looks it. The shower does not have shelf to set your stuff so is very uncomfortable.

The staff here make it worth it! They are 10/10. So kind. The hotel is perfect as a main base for all the activities in the area. Greivin helped us book a spa and dinner evening before our arrival via WhatsApp and it worked out flawlessly. Rooms are simple but clean and private, everything you need for a high activity trip like in fortuna. We would definitely stay here again.

Delicious and healthy breakfast, clean cabin with view of volcano (although it was mostly covered by the cloud when we were there). It was a bit noisy with car noises as it faces a road, so ear plugs are a must if you are a light sleeper.

It’s a good size, but the room is quite rustic. Just wooden exterior walls and our cabin was close to the highway, which was very loud all night, especially when trucks with engine brakes on went by. There was no bar or hand soap, so we needed to use body wash to wash hands, also we had no hot water due to an issue with our hot water tank.

Windows to the bungalow didn’t fully close, took several minutes of water running to get hot water for the shower, poor lighting, thin walls so you could hear everything outside and traffic from the nearby road, wifi almost non existent.
