Trees Too Guest Lodge

"Nice Hospitality at Trees Too Guest Lodge"
Trees Too is very convenient to the Croccodile Bridge Gate of Kruger. Komatiespoort is nothing to speak of, but Trees Too is a nice oasis of warmth and hospitality. The food is delicious, the rooms comfortable, and owners kind and welcoming. We would recommend this lodge to anyone visiting the Southern part of Kruger.

Mvuradona Safari Lodge

"Great bush lodge location"
Travelling as 6 Adults and a 3 month baby, we could not asked for a better safari experience for our trip to South Africa. The lodge is near to Kruger National Park and also backs on the Crocodile River with only a fence that separates you from the park. From here you can watch the animals from the comfort of your dining table, a couch in the spacious open plan lounge or the swimming pool. The suites are wonderful with thatched roofs, very comfortable beds with insect nets adding to the safari feel. The host and staff are extremely friends and very helpful. We found nothing to be a problem. If you really want to experience the sounds and feel of nature then you cannot go wrong with Mvuradona Safari Lodge.

"Unique Rock Chalets, Beautiful Views"
We truly appreciated the stunning location for the resort. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rock chalets are very unique and clean. We had a comfortable sleep and each chalet has a seating deck with beautiful nature views, as well as an outdoor shower, which must be tried. Meals was prepared really well and flavorsome. Visitors must note that this is a proper break-away from city life. Wi-Fi and cell signal is minimal; and there are no TVs in the chalets. The overall resort, location and personnel are lovely and we will certainly return and recommend it to friends and family. We found it as part of the adventure.

"Nice quiet getaway close to Kruger Park"
Very nicely laid out boutique hotel. Only 9 rooms so it is quiet and the service quite personal. Good hearty meals and the staff were accommodating in delivery of meals to the room or setting up a table in the garden etc

Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge

Route R571, Crocodile Bridge, Kruger National Park - Map
"Fantastic view over Crocodile River"
Very nice tents and garden. The luxury tent is right in front of the river. Rooms are big and comfortable. It has a fridge, AC and hot water. There is a pool in the garden, so you shouldn’t forget the swim suit at home (like we did). The hosts light up a fire every day for dinner time so you can have the authentic Braai experience. You can buy drinks and meat in Koomatiport and join the other guests around the big dinner table. The host couple and guests are always very nice and you can debate the best place to spot the animals in Kruger park or learn about the various places when other tourists come from.

"Modern Guesthouse Close to Kruger National Park"
A modern, well-appointed guesthouse near the Crocodile Gate of Kruger National Park. An ideal base for a day trip to the park (if you come by rental car). A portion of the park and the Mozambique border are visible from the balcony. Almost like a small hotel. Two spacious buildings in a fenced compound. Nice landscaping. Wifi available in common areas and in some rooms. Microwave and fridge in common area. I got a lot more here than what I paid for. One disappointment: no meerkats.

Elephant Walk Retreat

"Hotel in the wild"
we stayed in one of the bungalows with a grass roof that gave us spectacular views. We could see rhinos, 23 elephants, wildebeest, and impala all while relaxing on the porch...bring binoculars!! The room was very clean and comfortable with friendly staff and "invisible" maid service. We loved our stay at the elephant walk retreat!

"Friendly lodge near Kruger"
Turaco is about a 30 minute drive from the Kruger, situated in quiet Marloth Park. The owners, Tony and Danielle, were great hosts and made us feel at home. We stayed in new rooms which were very comfortable and clean and enjoyed the home cooked food.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Komatipoort, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Komatipoort hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
